“A child”- The Real Housewives of Orange County fans criticize Alexis for wanting to go on Shannon’s trip

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 released episode 14 on October 10, 2024. The episode, titled High Tea and High Tension, saw the cast members as they arrived in London for Shannon's birthday trip.

However, one cast member, Alexis, wasn't too happy that she wasn't invited on the trip. She sent Shannon a direct message, despite their strained relationship. In the message, she said that since Shannon was hosting a Europe trip for her friends, she could "scrounge up" the $75,000 she owed Alexis' boyfriend.

The two women have been having issues since the beginning of the season after Alexis began dating Shannon's ex, John Janssen. He has a running lawsuit against Shannon, alleging that she hadn't paid $75,000 to him that she had borrowed for a "facelift."

When fans saw Alexis' message to Shannon, they took to X to criticize her for wanting to go on the trip while fighting for her boyfriend's money. Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County called Alexis out for "throwing a hissy fit" because she wasn't invited on the trip.

"Alexis is a child who is throwing a hissy fit cause she didn't get invited on a trip. Gosh she is a nightmare," one fan said.

Others called her the "worst thing" about the season with some stating that it was a "no-brainer" that she wasn't invited to Shannon's trip.

"And you know Alexis is still going to be watching. She just can’t accept the fact that no one wants to be friends with their ex’s new girlfriend," another fan said.

"Alexis is literally the worst thing about this season. She is literally like a festering boil that won’t go away! You’re mad you’re not invited to the trip hosted by your bf’s ex that you hate??? Now you’re begging for the money on his behalf like a dunce?" a third one wrote.

"I don’t know why any of them are acting shocked that Shannon didn’t invite Alexis on her birthday trip. Seems like a no-brainer," another fan wrote.

Some of The Real Housewives of Orange County fans found Alexis's disagreement over this trip's invitation unreasonable. They pointed out that she also had a hand in her boyfriend suing Shannon and questioned why Shannon would invite her for the trip.

"I still don't understand how Alexis would think she is going to be invited to her bfs ex gfs bday trip. Esp seeing as her bf is suing her, and she had a major part in it. It's giving delulu at a level that borders insanity," an X user wrote.

"'I bullied this lady all season long and I’m so upset that this same lady didn’t invite me to her birthday trip!' - Alexis, the clown!" another X user added.

"Alexis being shocked that Shannon didn’t invite her on her birthday trip is wild to me," a third user said.

"Lol at Alexis crying these crocodile tears because someone she has been DRAGGING doesn’t want to be her friend. Lol! Also, production not forcing Alexis on this trip tells me she’s a non-MF’in factor on this show," said another fan.

The ladies trip to England on The Real Housewives of Orange County

The ladies seemed excited to arrive in London on episode 14 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. They were further excited to see their rooms and almost disagreed over room selection, but Shannon put all the key cards in the bowl and defused the situation.

Later in the episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Heather and Tamra discussed Shannon's confession of borrowing the money from John. On the Jeff Lewis Podcast, the two women spoke about how Shannon had confessed after initially denying it.

The episode also saw Heather break down because no one asked how her mammogram went. She also claimed that Shannon's DUI photo setup left her feeling used.

Meanwhile, Shannon confided in Gina about how hurt she felt about Alexis and Tamra depicting her as a liar.
