Survivor Season 47 released its latest episode on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. It featured its eighth elimination as the castaways bid farewell to Sierra after an intense vote-out. She became the first contestant to become a member of the jury. Sam narrowly escaped getting booted off the show after tying votes with Sierra in the first round of the Tribal Council.
On the other hand, Kyle and Sue won individual immunity and earned safety from the elimination. While Sue celebrated her first individual victory, it marked Kyle's third immunity win. It was an endurance challenge where the contestants had to hold on to a tightly wound rope holding up a bucket weighing 25% of their pre-game body weight.
Kyle managed to outperform the others to win a third time, impressing Survivor season 47 fans with his strength and ability. However, many fans claimed Kyle would become the castaways' prime target as soon as he lost his immunity. They took to X to share their thoughts on Kyle's victory.
"Kyle is a dark horse. I did not see him winning three straight immunities," a fan wrote.
"Kyle is the first person to win 3 individual Immunity Challenges in a row in the new era. The last person to do it was Tony in Winners at War," another fan commented.

Survivor Season 47: Andy gives tough competition to Kyle in the immunity challenge
For Day 15's immunity challenge, the castaways had to hold onto a rope holding up a bucket weighing 25% of the contestants' pre-game body weight. Although it initially appeared easy, it eventually tested their endurance and strength. Host Jeff Probst reminded the cast members that both men and women had won the challenge in the previous season.
He added that the last woman and man standing in the challenge would each earn individual immunity and evade the risk of being sent home. It motivated the Survivor cast members as they strived to put their best foot forward and outperform one another. However, dropping their buckets at any point in the game would lead to instant elimination from the task.
Sam and Genevieve were the first competitors to drop their buckets. Soon, Teeny followed suit and lost her chance at immunity. Sierra was the next player to let go of her bucket, followed closely by Gabe, who struggled to maintain his grip on the rope.
Caroline was the next female contestant to lose. Meanwhile, Sol released the rope, unable to withhold the weight of the bucket. Sue and Caroline were the last two women standing, whereas Kyle and Andy were the final two men. Caroline attempted to maintain her balance and hold onto the bucket, but she lost the challenge after her rope snapped, dropping the weight. Consequently, Sue emerged victorious.
Meanwhile, Andy wound his rope, unwilling to let his bucket touch the ground. The remaining Survivor cast members cheered as Kyle stared in disbelief. Despite his efforts, Andy failed to hold onto the bucket and ultimately dropped it, earning Kyle his third immunity.
Although Kyle nabbed his third consecutive victory, he felt apprehensive about his position in the game. While speaking to the cameras, he said:
"This is not good...It's good for me today, but could be the death of me tomorrow."
He knew the cast members saw him as a massive challenge threat and would eventually want to vote him off.
