“A HUSBAND folks!!”- Love is Blind fans react to Garrett’s chat with Taylor’s father

The finale episode 12 of Love is Blind season 7 was released on October 23. It saw Ashley and Tyler and Taylor and Garrett saying "I do" to the big question, thus proving the experiment a success.

On the day of their wedding, Garrett talked to Taylor's dad. He asked for his help to put on the bow tie and fold a pocket square, then promised to take care of his daughter and to always be by her side.

Taylor's father got emotional while talking to him about his late brother and how Taylor was with him when his brother passed. He said likewise she would be by his side in times of crisis as well. This got Taylor emotional as well. Fans of Love is Blind have come to X to react to this heartwarming moment.

The conversation between Taylor's dad and Garrett on Love is Blind season 7 episode 12

The conversation between Garrett and Taylor's dad started with Garrett asking if he knew how to fold a pocket square and tie a bow tie. Her father helped him tie the bow tie and jokingly said that he was hammered during his marriage 35 years ago and couldn't remember his wedding.

Garrett then admitted to feeling heavy because it was such a big decision. He further added that there was no way he would go through with all of that if he wasn't sure of marrying Taylor, on Love is Blind. Meanwhile Taylor's father shared that his wife, Fong, was very intuitive, and if there was anything doubtful with this, she would've read it.

Garrett said that he knew Taylor was his gift to the world and his job wasn't to receive it but to accentuate it. He said he would support her to be who she wanted to be.

"She is already gonna be great. So my job is just to just be there for her and support her and make sure she fulfils, like, who she should be and who she wants to be. I promise to take great care of her," Garrett added.

Her dad in addition expressed that he would always be there for them. He then got emotional telling Garrett about his brother's passing and how Taylor was with him for two weeks during that period. The men parted ways saying "I love you" to each other.
