The Real Housewives of Potomac released episode 9, Mediation Nation, on Sunday, December 1, 2024. In one episode segment, Mia approached Gizelle and criticized her for commenting on her personal life. She suggested that Gizelle not review her private matters when her own daughters went behind her back and sneaked boys into the house during their Dominican Republic trip.

Earlier, Gizelle expressed concern over Mia's relationship dynamics with her current partner, Inc, and ex-husband, Gordon, who were shown having a good time together in one of Mia's posts. Mia disapproved of Gizelle's interest in her love life and was unhappy with her decision to discuss the matter before all the housewives.

As a result, Mia confronted Gizelle, criticizing her for discussing her matters publicly. She hoped Gizelle would have maintained her silence as she did when Gizelle's daughters sneaked boys into the house in the Dominican Republic. Mia called Gizelle out for portraying a perfect family life online when her daughters did things without her knowledge.

The Real Housewives of Potomac fans took to X to disapprove of Mia's decision to involve Gizelle's daughters in their conflict. They felt it was uncalled for and inappropriate.

The Real Housewives of Potomac star believed motherhood was taking a toll on Gizelle and that she had no right to police her parenting skills when she could not lead an "authentic life" herself.
