RHOC released its midseason trailer on Thursday, August 22, 2024. It shared a glimpse into the impending drama set to unfold in the upcoming episodes. One of the trailer's highlights was Shannon Beador excluding Alexis Bellino from the cast's forthcoming trip to London.
The ladies were seen having a great time as they visited various parts of the European city and engaged in multiple activities. Shannon's decision to bar Alexis from the trip was motivated by her feud with the cast member and her partner, John Janssen.
In the latest episode, released on August 22, John, Shannon's ex-partner, sued the RHOC star for a payment of $75,000. He claimed she never returned the money she borrowed for a facelift. Although Shannon refuted the allegation, John refused to back off. Additionally, Alexis accused Shannon of attempting to separate her from John.
Shannon was upset with how they mocked her alcohol addiction and publicized her DUI case. As a result, she sent a message to Alexis informing her about her exclusion from the trip. Fans took to X to applaud Shannon's decision.
"Shannon hosting the cast trip & leaving Alexis and her rotten orange at home is such a power move. Way to go Beador! #RHOC," a fan wrote.
"LMAO Shannon denying Alexis the screen time she’s desperate for….directly in my veins please," another fan commented.
Fans were glad Shannon mustered the courage to separate herself from the drama and spend time with her close friends. They claimed her decision not to include Alexis was justified.
"Im so happy Shannon had Gina, Emily, & Heather on this trip. Its heartbreaking seeing her breakdown in tears about her situation with John & how she feels unworthy of the support. She deserves all their support & love! So glad the women here are uplifting her. True friends. #RHOC," a netizen tweeted.
"Glad Bravo allowed Shannon to enjoy a trip to London without Alexis. Least they could do," one person wrote.
"Shannon has every right not to invite Alexis who is going around bragging about threatening to blackmail her. Who would want to be in Europe with someone who has secret recordings of u on their phone from ur ex who is suing u? Bravo is sick for thinking this is entertaining #RHOC," a user reacted.
At the same time, many fans believed Alexis deserved the treatment that was meted out to her.
"This trip text is epic, and Alexis deserves it all! I hope Alexis sat home and cried like Shannon did on many episodes! #RHOC Way to go, Shannon!" a fan tweeted.
"Shannon basically told Alexis you can take those flowers and shove them up your a**. She is so real for this love her! #RHOC," one person wrote.
"Shannon just served Alexis a piping hot mic drop! Her burn was so fierce, it should come with a warning label. Total queen move! #RHOC," one fan reacted.
What was shown in the RHOC season 18 midseason trailer?
During a gathering with the other cast members, Shannon disclosed she did not invite Alexis to the trip and read the message she sent to inform her about the same. The ladies screamed in shock when they heard what the text said.
"Hello, Alexis. It's Shannon Beador. I am hosting a trip to Europe with my friends and just wanted to make it clear that you are not invited. That should be quite understandable given the circumstances. Thank you for the flowers, but I am not interested in any olive branch," the message read.
In another segment, Jennifer Pedranti and Ryan Boyajian celebrated their engagement. Dressed in a wedding gown, Jennifer confessed she finally experienced the happiness she never had before. She added she left safe and pretty.
It further teased an argument between Tamra and Jennifer regarding the latter's fiance. It caused a rift between Eddie and Ryan as the two exchanged insults and refused to greet each other.
Alexis informed Tamra and Heather that she was going ring shopping with John. Towards the end of the trailer, Shannon was shown storming out of a group event, after her ex-partner showed up at the venue.
