"Aaron’s doormat": Love Island USA fans criticize Kaylor for taking Aaron back

Episode 27 of Love Island USA season 6 aired on Thursday, July 11, 2024, and saw the cast continue watching the clips from their time on the show. This was followed by another recoupling ceremony.

During "Movie Night," Rob chose "Challengers" as the category, and the cast members were shown clips of Aaron and Daniela's time in Casa Amor. As they watched the clips, Kaylor started crying and slammed Aaron for his behavior.

She said that three days before Casa Amor, Aaron had opened up about having feelings for her, while he was kissing Daniela in the other villa. Aaron then stormed off but returned during the recoupling ceremony, he chose to couple up with Kaylor.

The latest episode of the Peacock show had fans commenting on the situation on social media, with many criticizing Kaylor for going back to Aaron. Fans took to X to call Kaylor "Aaron's doormat" as they expressed their frustration over her crying.

Fans who watched episode 27 of Love Island USA season 6 slammed Kaylor for going back to Aaron, with many asking the producers to stop showing them. Others said that they were over Kaylor's "dramatics" and crying.

Kaylor and Aaron couple up despite another argument in Love Island USA season 6 episode 27

In Love Island USA season 6 episode 27, as Movie Night ended, there was a lot of chaos in the villa. The cast was shown more footage of Aaron and Daniela's time in Casa Amor, which made Kaylor cry.

She and Aaron got into an argument as she questioned his actions once again. Although Aaron initially claimed that the clip was taken out of context, soon, he began to get defensive. He was also unhappy that Liv stood up for Kaylor, and she reminded him that there were consequences to his actions.

Defending himself, Aaron said that while he knew there were consequences, it was what he "felt in the moment," acknowledging that he had "made a mistake."

"Yeah, there's consequences, but that's what I felt in the moment. It's as simple as that. I know I made a mistake at the end of the day. I wanted to test myself as much as everyone else. Yes, I wasn't thinking about Kaylor," Aaron said.

The Love Island USA season 6 cast members continued arguing, which seemingly ended with Aaron walking out. However, he and Kaylor made up when he returned, as Aaron had brought a shell for Kaylor.

During the recoupling ceremony in the Love Island USA episode, Aaron went down memory lane and claimed that he knew from Day One that Kaylor was the girl for him. He said that if he were asked what he was looking for, he would've said that it was a "best friend that I could fall in love with."

"If you were to ask me beforehand what I was looking for, it was a best friend that I could fall in love with, and I feel like I've found a best friend in here. And I've definitely fallen in love with her," Aaron claimed.

After the Love Island USA season 6 islander chose Kaylor, the two coupled up and were safe from elimination. Fans who saw the episode reacted to the segment with many slamming Kaylor for taking Aaron back.
