ITV's The Voice UK 2024 featured the talented singers one last time this Saturday during its season finale. The segment marked the end of season 13 and revealed which contestant won the singing competition.

The segment saw multiple performances by the singers and the coaches, including one by Billy and Louie from Sir Tom Jones' team. Together, they sang Farther Away. While the trio earned praises from the studio audience, fans online were divided by it. One person wrote on X:

"The fact Tom Jones still has this ability to sing at 84 years old is absolutely incredible and so remarkable. Absolute Legend"
"Hard to beat a Tom Jones duet unfortunately," a fan commented.
"not really fair that a dog groomer/teacher are up against a professional who has shared a stage with Tom jones and been nominated for music awards in Canada," a tweet read.

Some fans of The Voice UK 2024 were unhappy with Sir Tom Jones' performance with the finalists:

"Sooooo bored with #thevoiceuk......all the contestants are soooo boring and the mentors are trying to out do the contestants......oh, and Tom Jones picking Louis and Douie over Ace last week.....what a crock of Sh*t....Tom Jones out.....Ollie Murs please come back lol," a person wrote.
"I love Tom Jones but my god this is so boring!" a fan commented.
"Tom Jones is actually getting boring now," a tweet read.

Fans of The Voice UK 2024 further said:

"Billy and Louis and Tom Jones voices blend so well!" a person wrote.
"Tom Jones is 84 years old and still stands there like a brick sh*t-house belting it out," a fan commented.

In The Voice UK season 13 finale, which aired on Saturday, October 26, 2024, the finalists teamed up with their coaches for a performance during the episode. Ava Mannings alongside her coaches, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones, sang Reason by Hoobstank. Meanwhile, Storry and Will.I.Am performed Cry Me a River by Justin Timberlake.

Deb Orah and her coach LeAnn Rimes enthralled the audience with the track Nina Cried Power by Hozier, while Sir Tom Jones and his singers Billy and Louie performed Farther Away. About the song choice, The Voice UK 2024 coach said:

"I think it's bringing them into what I like and it lends itself to three people singing it."

Contestants complimented their mentor after earning a standing ovation from the studio audience.

"He's just the most incredible coach, honestly. We couldn't ask for somebody better, it's been amazing," The Voice UK 2024 contestants said.

Sir Tom Jones also commended the singers and told the host Emma Willis that it had been wonderful. He added that it was evident in the contestants' voices. He called the two "lovely fellas" and said it had been a pleasure working with them.

"I know you're going to shoot upwards after here," he added.

Who won The Voice UK 2024?

Season 13 aired its season finale earlier this week and saw Ava Mannings as the winner. She walked away with a grand prize of £50,000, a holiday to Florida, America, and a recording contract.

Ava's coaches, Tom and Danny, appreciated her journey and celebrated their win after the announcement. Danny told Ava that both of them were proud of the work she had done. Tom Fletcher further told her that she gave it her "all."

Fans reacted to Billy and Louie's performance with Sir Tom Jones online and were divided online. While some praised the trio, others were unhappy with the rendition of Farther Away.
