“Acting like teens”- 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans react to Corona hinting at marriage with ring photos

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6 episode 18 was released on TLC on Monday, October 28, 2024. Titled Bride and Prejudice, the episode saw Corona and Ingi discussing marriage after Ingi let Corona in on his views about marriage in the previous episode.

In episode 17, Ingi told Corona that he didn't believe in marriage and didn't know Corona wanted to marry. In the new episode, he validated her feelings and acknowledged how she might've felt to find out he didn't want to marry her.

Corona argued that she had sent him pictures of wedding rings while they used to chat to let him know her intentions. Ingi said he didn't read into those and didn't know that was how Corona was telling him she wanted to marry. Fans of 90 Day Fiancé took to X to react to the same.

"If Corona sent you picks of "cool wedding rings" read the room inky she wants to be married. Either she should’ve flat-out told him her expectations before move or he should’ve asked more questions….they’re acting like teens," said one fan.

"Sending a ring doesn’t mean sh$t! Why not come out and say I want to marry and have kids. Corona what do you know about the Icelandic culture? Have you asked?" said another fan.

"There could be many reasons Corona sent Ingy pics of wedding rings. Contemplating a career in jewelry design, starting a group Pinterest board… or perhaps dropping lead hints about marrying the least worthy man in the northern hemisphere," a third fan added.

"Corona is young… Open your mouth and tell the man what you want exactly - don’t play games sending pics of rings," another wrote.

While some fans of 90 Day Fiancé criticized Corona for not communicating the idea efficiently enough, others criticized Ingi for not reading such a simple hint.

"Is he dumb? She sent Ingi pictures of wedding rings and he didn't read anything into that?" an X user said.

"What did iggy think she was sending rings for," another X user wrote.

"That’s mentioning marriage if she sends you wedding rings idiot!" commented another.

"I believe Ingi when he says Corona created this reality in her head," wrote another.

The conversation between Corona and Ingi on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6 episode 18

In episode 18 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6, when Ingi went to Corona's room, she noticed that he was empty-handed, and asked him about the flowers. Ingi seemed to agree that he should have got flowers for her.

They admitted to each other that they didn't get much sleep. Ingi said he was feeling regretful because of their clashing views on marriage. He felt their relationship was blowing out of proportion because of their misunderstanding.

Corona asked if he really didn't realize she wanted to marry him until she told him and he responded that he hadn't realized that it was what she meant. Corona told him that she had sent him two rings within a span of two months.

However, Ingi said discussing marriage after having dated for a very short time seemed "off to him," which was why he didn't realize she took it so seriously.

Corona mentioned their discussion about having children and said that there was "no way in hell" she was having his kids without getting married to him first. In a confessional, the 90 Day Fiancé star said that Ingi not wanting to marry was a "glass-shattering" moment for her.
