Vanessa Lachey dived into one "unsolved mystery" about boys' night which was J.R. and Scotty's conversation about the "hall pass" rumors. J.R. said it didn't matter while Zaina insisted that it did.
She asked if she could borrow one of the host's phones, scanned her nail, and asked them to open the folder titled "receipts." The folder contained screenshots of a conversation about the "hall pass" comment.

In The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 episode 10, titled, The Reunion, Vanessa Lachey asked Scotty and J.R. about the alleged "hall pass" rumor that the latter confronted Scotty about during Boys' Night. J.R. said it didn't matter and Scotty agreed. However, Zaina insisted it did and asked if she could borrow one of the host's phones.
"I have text message proof. I have a chip on my nail," she said.
She scanned the chip with Nick Lachey's phone and asked him to open the folder titled receipts. Zaina said she wanted to "clear the air" because she felt it was J.R.'s "ploy" to ruin her trial marriage with Scotty.
The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On host Vanessa Lachey read the messages in which Zaina had asked J.R. if Scotty told her what Aria said. The next message stated that "she was breaking down crying" because some of the "guys" were treating the Netflix show as a "hall pass" and clarified that she was not talking about Nick.
"I'm like the only other person is JR," the text read.
Vanessa then read out messages that J.R. sent to Zaina wondering how he was "getting dragged" into it. J.R.'s text message stated that he was "literally on film" saying it wasn't what he wanted.
Zaina's next message stated that Scotty was not trying to stir the pot but trying to "decipher" what Aria was talking about. It further said that The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star was not speaking "badly" about J.R.
"That states clearly that Scotty was not talking sh*t about you. So why would you bring that heat to Guys' Night knowing that the conversation stemmed with Aria?" Zaina questioned J.R.
