“An idiot”— The Real Housewives of Potomac fans react to TJ's cheating accusations

December 15 saw the release of The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 11, titled Secrets of the Love Lagoon. It documented Stacey asking her boyfriend TJ if what Karen and Gizelle accused him of was true.

The two Real Housewives of Potomac ladies accused him of cheating while he was away from Stacey, in LA. TJ first jokingly agreed to what they said, then when Stacey asked him if he actually slept with other people in LA, he said he slept with his Bugs Bunny in the bed.

Fans of The Real Housewives of Potomac took to X to comment their views on TJ's cheating rumors. Some of them even found his replies odd, and noted that he never actually clarified if he was cheating or not.

"Tj is an idiot, Stacey can move on, and Gizelle doesn’t always need to voice her opinion. She can leave now," said one fan.

"I need Stacey to go to the next speed dating event with Ashley & Gizzy so that she can find someone who is not TJ," said another.

"I do not, think TJ is any good for Stacey. She needs to continue to look for her knight in shining-armor," added a third.

"I will give it up for TJ, he handles all of the shade & questions thrown at him really well," another wrote.

Many The Real Housewives of Potomac fans also reacted to TJ saying he slept with "Bugs Bunny".

"Tj is so corny. Why would he say that he is only guilty of cheating with the “Bugs Bunny on his bed”. EVERY EPISODE TJ says it does something out of pocket," an X user wrote.

"One day, when TJ isn't in the room, his phone will ring. Stacey will pick it up to hand it to him and notice the caller's name: Bugs Bunny," another user wrote.

"TJ: [I sleep with] my Bugs Bunny that’s on my bed! Gizelle: That wasn’t a good answer, I don’t think," commented one.

"Gizelle said TJ is doing TJ. Karen said he has a whole life in LA. OK?! She implying what we're thinking," another added.

The conversation about TJ's cheating on The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 11

While the couples of the show sat together and chatted at the gathering, Stacey brought up the time when Gizelle and Karen said that TJ did his "own thing" when in LA. Before TJ could answer, Gizelle interrupted and said she said that just because she thought TJ and Stacey weren't in a relationship.

"I have to agree with them," TJ replied.

This set off a chain of reaction among the ladies. Karen screamed, while Ashley exclaimed and asked if they really were in a relationship or if they were just being friends with benefits. This made Stacey simplify the question and ask him again if he was sleeping with other women in LA.

"My Bugs Bunny that's on my bed," TJ answered.

Most cast members of The Real Housewives of Potomac thought that wasn't a good answer. Gizelle took to a confessional to say that no one believed what TJ had to say, then went on to tell TJ that Karen and she asked Stacey to find people to sleep with.

She clarified that she meant no offense to TJ but advised Stacey to do so for her own journey. TJ wasn't mad, he called them good friends for looking out for Stacey like that.
