“Bamboozled”—90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort fans react to Natalie’s apology to Sophie

90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort season 2 episode 5 was released on December 30, 2024. Titled The Last Laugh, the episode documented progress on the ongoing feud between Natalie, Josh, and Sophie. The previous episodes saw Natalie getting mad at Josh for inviting Sophie to Vegas. She was also upset with Sophie for letting Josh flirt with her, calling her a "h**ker."

Natalie called Josh a "wh*re" for engaging in a conversation they claimed to be innocent and friendly. After their fight, Josh left the retreat because he didn't see the scope of Natalie changing, while Natalie met with therapist, James, who made her realize certain things.

He told her that her insecurities stemmed from her childhood trauma and to ease those who she had hurt, he wanted her to talk to them about it. In episode 5, when Natalie walked in, she read the text messages between Sophie and Josh and apologized to Sophie. She also did what her therapist had asked her to do and told them that she was bullied as a child because of which she behaved the way he did.

Fans of 90 Day Fiancé came to X to react to Natalie's apology.

"It’s killing me how much Natalie keeps getting bamboozled by Sophie. She has just a much blame to take as Josh does in that conversation," a fan said.

"Natalie is jealous of Sophie that’s why she treats her that way. She’s insecure & doesn’t know how to be a girl’s friend," said another.

"So Natalie didn't actually mean that apology because next week she calls Sophie "LAZY" & laughs at her during therapy," added a third person.

Natalie's confrontation with Sophie on 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort season 2 episode 5

In episode 5, Sophie, Julia, and Jasmine went out to the bar. The ladies of 90 Day Fiancé then found out that Natalie was going to join them. This was the first time they were going to confront her after they fought. Natalie also had animosity with Jasmine, because she was accused of starting the fight.

When Natalie walked in, Jasmine joked that they should take all the glasses and scissors away. However, as Natalie arrived, she wanted to reconcile and in an attempt to do that, she opened up about her childhood trauma. She said that her trauma was the reason behind her eruption on the night she found out Josh was texting Sophie.

Sophie reiterated that she wasn't doing anything wrong with Josh and offered Natalie to read their chats. The texts made Natalie realize that the two indeed weren't doing anything shady, so she apologized to Sophie but the latter didn't seem to care.

Apart from Sophie and Natalie's confrontation, the episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort also saw Jasmine getting into a verbal fight with Florian. This happened after a drunk Gino hugged Natalie for a little too long, for which Jasmine apologized to her and blamed Florian for being a bad drinking influence on Gino.

Jasmine also took away Gino's drink and stopped him from getting more. In response, Florian accused Jasmine of treating Gino like a child.
