Season 7 of Love is Blind premiered with episodes 1-6 on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Singles from different layers of society gathered in the pods to find love, sight unseen. They went on multiple "blind" dates with various people to find the one they were the most compatible with.

Love is Blind star Tim wears his sisters' high school class rings on his necklace

32-year-old content strategist Tim's first interaction in episode 1 was with Alex. Before entering the pods, he revealed to the cameras that he participated in the show to find his wife. He confessed he was at that stage in life where he longed for nothing but a meaningful and committed relationship.

During his first interaction with Alex, Tim mentioned he had "seen a lot of bad days." He had two elder sisters and both of them passed away. Despite the sadness, he carried their memories wherever he went.

"I took something from each of their lives and each of their stories. I have a keen awareness of, like, my own mortality, just because a lot of my life has been defined by death," Tim said.

In episode 2, the Love is Blind star revealed he lost his older sister to Lupus. He remembered he was at his grandmother's house the night she passed away. After Tim reached the hospital, he saw tears in his father's eyes and realized "something's wrong."

However, the "big thing" he said he would always remember from that night was "knowing that she was gone" before anybody told him. He knew things were not normal when he heard his mother make a "primal and animalistic" noise, which she never made again.

The Love is Blind cast member confessed it was difficult to watch his other sister tug the class ring off his late sister's swollen finger. He said:

"It was a lot going on, but I remember, like, I'm glad she did it. I'm glad I have that memory, 'cause, like, I'm literally wearing that ring around my neck right now. I wear both of my sisters' high school class rings on my necklace."

At that point, both Alex and Tim were moved to tears. Despite everything he experienced, Tim confessed he would never change anything from his "beautiful childhood."
