"Be thankful"- Love After Lockup fans react to Joey not being the father of Kim's son

Episode 50 of Love After Lockup season 5 was released on December 6, 2024. Titled Love is Sacrifice, Kim got her son Kasen's DNA test result and a friend of hers read the same to her. According to the result, Joey wasn't Kasen's father.

The previous episodes of Love After Lockup saw Joey asking for Kasen's DNA test because he claimed that Kim had been with other men when they conceived their son. Kim complied with the request because she believed that her partner deserved to know the truth.

When the results came in on episode 50 of the show, Kim was disheartened that Kasen wasn't her and Joey's child. She also said that while she had conceived Kasen before getting into a relationship with Joey, she didn't know she was already pregnant. This seemed to imply that she believed Kasen was her and Joey's kid.

Fans who saw the episode of Love After Lockup took to X to react to the DNA results. Some said that it was a good thing that Joey wasn't Kasen's father as he had plans of "draining her financially."

Other fans said that Kimberly "low-key" wanted Joey to be Kasen's father as they asked her to "stand up" for herself. They said that the "last thing" Joey needed was a child, as others said that the couple would continue getting child support, no matter who the father was.

"Kimberly low-key wanted Joey to be her kid's dad. A man is straight out of prison and is currently in REHAB. And let’s not forget spent money from HER savings on Rims and Tires!!! KIMBERLY STAND UP!" another fan said.

What happened when Kimberly found out the DNA test results for her son on Love After Lockup season 5 episode 50?

In episode 50 of season five of Love After Lockup, Kimberly and her friend sat down to check the results of her son's DNA test. The test showed that Joey wasn't Kimberly's son's father. While Kim's friend said it was a good thing that Joey wasn't the father, Kim admitted to being scared of telling Kasen that Joey wasn't his dad.

She said that when she started dating Joey in 2018, she didn't know that she was already pregnant, which was why she thought she conceived the child with Joey.
