“Being a victim”— The Real Housewives of New York fans criticize Brynn talking to her brother about Ubah and Sai

The Real Housewives of New York season 15 aired a new episode this week on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The segment saw Brynn Whitfield speaking to her brother about the turbulent group dynamics as she recalled the conflict between her and several cast members while in the Hamptons.

The season 15 cast member stated she never had someone hate her and that nobody had ever called her a "snake" before Ubah did. Her brother told her that it was tougher for her because she had been through it before, and the cast member started to cry. He asked her to be a "bigger" person and the cast member stated she would try.

Fans of the show reacted to Brynn and her brother's FaceTime conversation online and were critical of Brynn's narration of the Hamptons trip. One person wrote on X:

"Hmm... Brynn being a victim again. Your face time video with your brother is a joke. People dont hate you for no reason. You stir sh*t up and then try to play innocent."

"Brynn talks so much sh*t but is the first to cry or be on mute when the girls are all together," a fan commented.
"Brynn loves to throw stones, hide her hand and play the victim," a tweet read.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New York said nobody felt sorry for Brynn:

"Watching Brynn force tears out, desperately trying to appear as some victim while baby-talking on the phone with her brother made my skin crawl. "Usually it's my aunt's & uncles who treat me like (poop emoji) Girl, no one feels sorry for you," a person wrote.
"brynn said she was done playing nice and was owed apologies, yet she was crying on the phone to her brother and is being hella avoidant at the event. girl stop trying to play the villain because it’s not for you clearly," a fan commented.
"Wild that Brynn doesn't see herself as the problem in the group," a tweet read.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New York season 15 further said:

"brynn’s woe is me i’m the victim act and i’m going to cry wolf every time someone calls me on my bullsh*t is getting old. she’s a good chunk of why this new era s*cks. she put herself in the villain role and now she wants to backpedal. we’re not buying what you’re selling," a person wrote.

In The Real Housewives of New York season 15 episode 6, titled, A Shot of Mess-cal, Brynn Whitfield video called her brother to discuss her fight with her friends. The cast member told him about what happened after he left New York and explained the conflict in the Hamptons.

She said Sai confronted her about allegedly telling Erin she hated the RHONY cast member. Brynn claimed Sai was pulling at strings. She also told her brother about Ubah saying "f*ck you Brynn" and calling her a snake.

"I've never been called a snake in my life, I've never had people like, f*cking hate me," she said.

The Real Housewives of New York season 15 cast member recalled Jessel's birthday party. Chiming in on the same, she told the cameras it was "really awkward" to attend an event for someone and pretend everything was fine when they had been fighting the same day.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New York season 15 were unhappy with Brynn and felt she was not telling her brother the whole truth about what happened between Ubah and her.

The Real Housewives of New York season 15 episode 7 will air on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, on Bravo.
