Blac Chyna says she “started to go overboard” with plastic surgery” to attain the “Hollywood look”

Angela White, better known as Blac Chyna recently revealed the reasons behind undergoing multiple surgeries while speaking to The Los Angeles Times on April 18, 2024. Addressing her overall experience with the procedures, Chyna said she wanted to have a "Hollywood look" similar to Angelina Jolie.

"I just wanted everything to be perfect and structured, because most of the models, they have very symmetrical faces, and the lips needed to be a certain way, but for me, I kind of started to go overboard."

The television personality has been in the headlines since March last year after she shared an Instagram video, writing that she was reducing her "breast and Gluteus maximus." While speaking to Entertainment Tonight a few months later, Blac Chyna revealed she was removing a particular tattoo and added,

"I'm getting it removed and I will tell you this, it stings very, very, very bad, but it's fast. It was definitely something personal because I felt as though it was attracting the wrong energy on me."

Blac Chyna wanted to get the perfect look for herself before she turned 18:

In her latest interview with The Los Angeles Times, Blac Chyna said that she was well aware of the things that are common in today's industry where people make someone feel like he or she is "not capable of doing certain things." She stated she is good to those who respect her in return and continued,

"If people want to be nasty and rude, I'm still not going to give that back, but I'm going to guard myself. I don't want people to think that, 'Oh, I'm soft. Because I'm not.' I'm a soft person, I'm a gentle person, but I'm not soft…. This is not an era for me."

When Chyna was 12, she looked at a picture of herself and noticed that she was not as well endowed as Jennifer Lopez, whom she was a fan of. Chyna also mentioned that she was willing to go "bra shopping" before she turned 18.

Blac Chyna soon started going for surgeries, including breast implants, and she witnessed that these were common among women who accumulated a lot of wealth from their work.

"You're looking around and seeing fully developed women like that, you're like 'I want to look like that', how am I going to make some money when they got big old b**ties and I got this little rump?"

Blac Chyna wanted to change after she saw herself differently in the mirror

The star told The Los Angeles Times she could not accept her looks when she looked at herself once in the mirror. She spotted the changes in her breasts alongside other body parts and began undergoing more surgery after consulting her doctor.

While Blac Chyna documented the procedure through video, she received a lot of support from her followers on social media. She referred to the women who died of similar surgeries, saying that most of them chose the option for someone else.

"It's so crazy to me because some men might not like big b**bs or they don't love big b**ties and you went and got a big b**ty."

Blac Chyna addressed those women who have been on the same journey as her and continued,

"It's just sad that the girls, even after I posted my surgery, I physically went on my Instagram, on my socials, and I've seen women pass away from it and I'm like, 'Yo, how many times are surgeons not going to be careful in their work."

Notably, the 35-year-old underwent breast reduction surgery in December last year. Chyna revealed the aftermath in a now-deleted video, stating that one of her breasts got "encapsulated" and that it had never happened in the past. She ended the video by expressing gratitude to all those who supported her in this entire process.
