Big Brother season 26 is currently in week 7 of the CBS show. While events of the week will not be available for the general public till Sunday, September 1, 2024, others have kept up with the CBS show through the Live Feeds available on Paramount+.
The Live Feeds gave fans unedited and unfiltered content from the show and revealed that Quinn would be named the new HoH in the upcoming episode. As per the format, the houseguest nominated three contestants, Angela, Kimo, and Rubina for elimination.
Big Brother season 26 fans took to social media to react to the nominations and felt that the houseguest played it safe. However, some people thought that Quinn's nominations were strategic and made sense. One person wrote on X:
"Boring and predictable"
"Leah is right there. She's never really been apart of anything and doesn't even really f*cking like him. If he wasn't blinded by lust, he easily could have nominated Leah, Rubina, and Angela and then still mostly kept all the relationships he had including kimo and Tkor," a fan commented.
"I just think Quinn has a better working relationship with Rubina/Kimo, plus keeping the trio intact keeps a target in front of him. Personally if I was him I would’ve put MJ up there instead of Kimo with a potential to BD Cam if the opportunity arises," a tweet read.
Some Big Brother season 26 fans defended Quinn's decision:
"Ppl saying this is boring, who else would he have put up? These choices make the most sense for his game," a person wrote.
"Yall calling noms boring. Who else would he put up???????," a fan commented
"Serves them right! Tkor should go up as replacement nom if one comes down," a tweet read.
Big Brother season 26 fans further said:
"Love a change in power dynamics," a person wrote.
"Quinn is being an idiot. I really wish Tucker would’ve never saved him," a fan commented.
"I need Angela to go home": Quinn Martin reveals his target in Big Brother season 26 Week 7 Live Feeds
In Big Brother season 26 Week 7 Live Feeds, Quinn Martin won HoH and had to nominate three cast members for elimination. He picked Angela, Rubina, and Kimo.
Angela was upset with her name being on the block once again and went to the Dairy Room. Leah, Makensy, and Quinn contemplated checking up on her but decided against it as the Week 7 HoH stated it wasn't "too crazy" and there was no way she was "caught off guard."
The Feeds showed Quinn and Leah talking about Angela once again and Quinn told the latter that the nominated contestant previously told him to nominate those who hadn't been in that position before. He added that Angela implied that Leah should have been nominated in Big Brother season 26 week 7.
Angela spoke to Quinn and the two seemingly resolved their issues. Quinn told the cast member that she was not a bad person and she hadn't "hurt" his feelings while Angela said that she loved and appreciated him.
Quinn reflected upon his nominations to the cameras and said that he had nominated Rubina twice and either she or Angela needed to go home. Chiming in on why he nominated Kimo, the Big Brother season 26 contestant said Kimo was "so paranoid."
The Big Brother season 26 contestant spoke of which cast members he'd like to see as part of the jury. He said he thought Chelsie, Rubina, Cam, T'Kor, Makensy, and Joseph could all vote for him to win the show.
"This week I need Angela to go home because she is taking what's mine, and that's a seat at the final two. Leah is going to stab me in the back at some point. She has already done it. I'm an idiot but, like I said, I am weak," he stated.
Fans of the show took to social media to chime in on Quinn's nominations and were divided. Tune in on Sunday, September 1, 2024, to see what happens next in the Big Brother season 26 house.
