"Bravo, Emma & Britt!!"— Dancing with the Stars fans praise pro dancers as Eric and Reginald get eliminated

Dancing with the Stars season 33 aired episode 4 this week on October 8, 2024. The segment saw the cast dance to the theme of Hair Metal Night. Gene Simmons, KISS's bass guitarist and one of the band's lead singers served as a guest judge and wanted the celebrities to "release the kraken."

Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart, Ilona Mahe and Alan Bersten, and Reginald Valjohnson and Emma Slater found themselves at the bottom with the lowest combined scores from Monday's Soul Train Night episode and the Hair Metal Night.

The overall judges' scores, combined with the fan votes, sent Reginald VelJohnson and Eric Roberts home. DWTS fans took to social media to react to the double elimination and praised the actors' professional dancers for their time on the show. One wrote on X:

"Bravo, Emma & Britt!! They consistently give their contestants a high-level experience even if they aren't going to win the MBT. You can tell that Reginald and Eric genuinely enjoyed their time on the show."

Fans of Dancing with the Stars season 33 called Eric and Reginald's elimination the "worst outcome":

"Worst outcome tonight (personally) was Reginald & Eric going home," a person wrote.

"I know neither Eric nor Reginald were great dancers, but they both had so much love from the fans that I honestly thought they would make it further than this," a fan commented.

"I’ve loved watching Reginald and Eric dance. They’ve been absolutely amazing and I’m like a proud grandson at home tearing up for them," a tweet read.

Fans of Dancing with the Stars season 33 further said:

Dancing with the Stars season 33's Metal Hair Night sends two celebrities packing

In Dancing with the Stars season 33 episode 4, titled, Metal Hair Night, the cast performs several dance forms in front of the three regular judges and a guest judge before their fate on the show was revealed.

The contestants' scores from Monday's episode were added to the scores they received in the latest episode. The judges' scores and the audience's votes eliminated two contestants from Dancing with the Stars.

Danny Amendola and Witney Carson's Paso Doble earned them 30 out of 40, bringing their total judges' score to 60. Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater's Cha Cha earned them 21 out of 40, bringing their total to 42.

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong's Jive in Dancing with the Stars season 33 episode 4 earned them 33 out of 40 and brought their judges' total up to 69. Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchencko's Cha Cha earned them 33 out of 40, bringing their total up to 61.

Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold's Foxtrot earned them a score of 32 and brought their total up to 62. Dwight Howard and Danielle Karagach's Paso Doble's scores landed them at 29 and made their judges' total score 52.

Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart's Paso Doble brought their total score up to 46 after they scored a 22 with their latest Dancing with the Stars season 33 performance. Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten's Jive brought their total up to 56 as they scored 26 on Tuesday night.

Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber scored 31 out of 40 with their Paso Doble and stood at 62. Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy's Paso Doble earned them 26 out of 56 and brought their total up to 56. Joey Grazaidei and Jenna Johnson's Tango earned them a 36 and brought their total up to 70.

The lowest-scoring Dancing with the Stars contestants, Ilona, Reginald and Eric were at risk of going home. As per the public vote, Ilona was safe while the other two were sent packing.

DWTS season 33 fans reacted to the elimination online and were upset to see the two actors get eliminated.
