"Can't let it go"— Love is Blind UK fans divided by Benaiah and Sam's argument

Love is Blind UK aired epsiodes 5 to 9 on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, during which fans saw the cast continue their journeys on the Netflix show. Members of the pod squad who didn't find love on the show returned to mingle with the current couples and one cast member's presence didn't sit right with Benaiah.

Sam and Benaiah clash in Love is Blind UK episode 8

In Love is Blind UK season 1 episode 8, Benaiah was unhappy with Sam joining a group for an outing and spoke to him. Before approaching him, Benaiah said his and Nicole's relationship was "really special" and he wanted to "keep it that way."

"Ideally, I'd just walk away with her from this situation and live a happy ever after. Yeah, I mean, there's a lot that I wanna say, I wanna get off my chest," he told the cameras

Benaiah told the Love is Blind UK star that his intentions for being on the Netflix show were "disingenuine" and that he had an "agenda." He explained that he was uncomfortable since it hurt Nicole, someone he "deeply" cared about.

Sam told Benaiah he was upset by his words because he sounded "bitter" and the latter asked him if he would let him finish. This caused the conversation to heat up as Benaiah tried to complete his sentence and Sam kept interjecting. Sam felt the Love is Blind UK star was trying to "nitpick" him to find something wrong with him.

Sam recalled his relationship with Nicole and said they had an "amazing connection" and told Benaiah that she wanted to sleep with him. Benaiah laughed and told him he didn't appreciate Sam's lack of appreciation and respect for Nicole.
