Season 3 of The Traitors UK aired episode 4 on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. It bid farewell to Kasim, popularly known as Kas, and Maia, evicted traitor Armani's sister. While Maia was murdered by secret conspirators Linda and Minah, Kasim was banished from the castle after receiving the majority votes from the cast members.
Despite the cast suspecting Anna and Freddie during the roundtable discussion, Kasim found himself holding the shorter end of the stick with seven votes in favor of his elimination. The 33-year-old doctor from Cambridge was surprised by the group's decision and during his final speech, tricked them into believing he was a Traitor before revealing he was, in fact, a Faithful.
The remaining players were disappointed in themselves for wrongly judging Kasim's intentions. The Traitors UK fans were equally unimpressed by the contestants' decision to banish the doctor. They took to X to sympathize with Kasim, and criticize the participants for evicting him after isolating him throughout his stay in the castle.

Many fans of The Traitors UK were upset to see Kasim exit the show. While some disapproved of the treatment meted out to him, others claimed he deserved to stay longer.
"ELIMINATING KAS? SWEET KASIM? for WHAT? y’all excluded him from the beginning, he had no chance," a user reacted.
"Gutted for Kas, he had a target on his back from day one just for being clever! He never had a fair chance," a person commented.
"I get it’s a game but making Kas feel so excluded to the point no one really spoke to him besides to wrongfully keep accusing him! When he felt the need to leave the room after realising they were trying to talking about him.. ugh uncomfortable to watch," another fan wrote.

Other fans of The Traitors UK praised Kasim's exit speech, applauding him for tricking the players into believing they caught a Traitor.

The Traitors UK season 3 episode 4: Kasim's exit speech leaves the players confused
After Claudia Winkleman, The Traitors UK's host, announced the results of the vote, she asked Kasim to reveal his true identity. Kasim, who was surprised by the players' verdict, decided to confuse them, particularly Joe, by twisting his words and making them believe they had evicted a conspirator.
"It's been fantastic and you are all fantastic people and I know it's just a game. And Joe, who'd have thought you'd have caught me based on a twinkle in the eye. On the first roundtable, I was selected to be a... Faithful," Kasim said.
The Traitors UK cast member left immediately after disclosing the players had eliminated one of the Faithfuls. After Kasim left without saying goodbye to his co-stars, Claudia turned to the contestants and questioned their strategy.
"What are you doing?" she asked.
Earlier in the episode, the three contestants who left the show before entering the castle, returned, pleading for another chance at joining the competition. They were found hanging in cages, battling one another to reach the ground first. Alexander and Fozia outperformed Jack to officially join the cast of the show.
