"Classless, disrespectful, and rude"— Dancing with the Stars fans react to Anna Delvey's elimination and last words

Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) season 33 episode 2, titled, Oscars Night, aired on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 on ABC. The segment saw the 13 celebrity contestants and their professional dancing partners take on the stage ahead of the season's first elimination.

Two contestants' journeys came to an end in episode 2, namely Tori Spelling and Anna Delvey. While the two were not the lowest-scoring contestants as they got 36 and 35 points respectively, they were voted out as they didn't receive enough live votes to continue their journeys on the show.

Fans chimed in on Anna's elimination from Dancing with the Stars season 33 and were glad to see the contestant get sent home. One person wrote on X:

Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) season 33 aired episode 2 this week and saw two contestants get eliminated. Reality TV personality Tori Spelling, and former con artist, Anna Delvey were sent packing after receiving fewer votes from the audience.

Upon her elimination, co-host Julianne Hough asked Anna Delvey what she would take away from being on Dancing with the Stars.

"Nothing," Anna responded.

Her reply earned laughter from co-host Alfonso Ribeiro while Ezra Sosa, Anna's partner gave her a brief look before turning his face away and laughing.

Anna's participation in the show was met with mixed reviews, while some fans were impressed by her personality, others, including Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who previously appeared in several seasons of the show, criticized her participation.

While on the TMZ Podcast on Monday, September 23, 2024, Maksim said that while he understood the "production side," they could have chosen someone else if they wanted to "draw attention." He added that he was not a fan of Anna and said her previous job was a "professional liar."
