Love is Blind season 7 released episodes 10 and 11 on Netflix on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Having returned from their romantic retreat in Mexico, the couples were challenged with the responsibilities of everyday living. As they navigated through the hurdles, they clashed on many fronts. While some disagreements were minor, others threatened the sustenance of the relationships.
Marissa and Ramses encountered a significant crisis in episode 10 of Love is Blind season 7. Ramses was concerned that Marissa's unaffectionate behavior could lead to larger issues in the future. He feared her lack of intimacy could jeopardize their relationship's longevity.
Marissa explained she could not get intimate with him because she had a severe vitamin D deficiency and felt sick because of the premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Despite Marissa's explanations, Ramses insisted that testing their physical intimacy was crucial to him before walking down the aisle.
Ramses appeared conflicted when Marissa asked if situations like postpartum, where a woman would not want to be affectionate, would become an issue for him in the future. Although Ramses mentioned that he would not want Marissa to feel uncomfortable, he consistently stressed the importance of intimacy.
Love is Blind fans were unimpressed by Ramses' conversation with Marissa. They took to X to criticize the star for discussing Marissa's lack of intimacy despite knowing that she was unwell.
"Ramses is coercive and controlling about his needs and doesn’t really care for hers. He gets away with it because he has a way with words," a fan wrote.

Love is Blind fans called out Ramses for making Marissa uncomfortable despite knowing she was unwell.

Ramses raised concerns about their physical compatibility in episode 10 of Love is Blind. Marissa explained that although she understood his argument, she could not meet his expectations because she was "clearly sick."
"I have a severe vitamin D deficiency and the PMS, and just the fact that I'm going back and forth from Baltimore. I feel like sh*t today," Marissa stated.
The Love is Blind star confessed that she did not want her health issues to be the reason for Ramses' dissatisfaction. However, at the same time, she hoped she did not have to explain why she was being unaffectionate.
Ramses assured her that he would not "pressure" her to "prove anything," but simultaneously stated that "this part of the experiment" was " really important" to him because it would decide if they were physically compatible. He added that since marriage was a "big decision" for him he wanted to ensure their physical connection was "right."
"I just wanna make sure that long term that it doesn't look like this," Ramses said.
Even when Marissa revealed she felt overstimulated, the Love is Blind star confessed he felt "rejected" at times. Marissa mentioned there would be multiple situations in the future where she would not want to get intimate, including times before and after giving birth. She asked Ramses how he would tackle those moments. He answered:
"That's a fair question. That's a big thing. Yeah."
Marissa stated she was scared Ramses would call off their wedding because he was concerned about their intimacy. She explained she could not control her body or how it reacted. Ramses reassured her that he would stick with her till the end.
