Love Is Blind: Germany star Shella shared her candid thoughts on her past relationships, revealing a history marked by infidelity in episode 1 of the show. In a heartfelt confessional, Shella opened up about the experiences she's had in her previous relationships.

During their second date in the pods, Shella asked Pascal if he related to the type of people who find it hard to show their vulnerable side. Pascal admitted that, as a man, he often struggles with opening up emotionally, as a "self-protection". Shella empathized with her Love Is Blind: Germany connection and expressed her desire to hug him.

As the conversation progressed, Pascal gently probed Shella about her own relationship history, asking if she had always made good choices when it came to men. Shella acknowledged that she hadn't, citing a past relationship where she ignored her gut feeling and ultimately suffered the consequences.

"Well, in the past, I've come across a lot of infidelity in relationships and so, yeah, that wasn't very nice," said Shella in a confessional.

Love Is Blind: Germany's Shella finds common ground with Pascal

Shella, a contestant on Love Is Blind: Germany shared her thoughts on what she's looking for in a partner in episode 1. She explained that she was seeking someone whose personality complemented her own, as she used to struggle with opening up to people due to past experiences.

Shella's past relationship had left her emotionally scarred, with her ex-boyfriend criticizing her for not being open enough.

As a result, Shella claimed to have built walls around herself for protection. In the pods, Shella met Pascal, and they quickly discovered they had some common ground. Pascal, who had recently returned from a trip to southern Africa, was fascinated by Shella's origins in Togo. Their conversation flowed easily, and they found themselves bonding over their shared love of travel.

Pascal revealed that he prefers to travel with a partner, as it makes exploring the world more enjoyable. Shella agreed, expressing her desire to find someone with whom she can share exciting experiences. When asked to describe himself, Pascal classified himself as reserved, preferring to observe before contributing to a conversation.

"There's so much of the world that I'd still like to see. But it's tricky. I actually don't like to travel alone. And when you're single, then you tend to do smaller trips with friends. When you have a partner, then it's easier to do bigger and longer trips," stated Pascal.

Shella identified with this trait in Love Is Blind: Germany, sharing that she too preferred to avoid being the center of attention. As they continued to talk, Pascal emphasized the importance of maintaining individuality within a relationship. He explained that he valued having time for himself and didn't want to be stuck to his partner 24/7 to which Shella concurred.

Pascal reflected on his ideal relationship, citing his parents as a shining example of enduring love and a relationship. They married young and have remained together, demonstrating to Pascal that a lifelong partnership is achievable. He aspires to find a similar connection with someone, prioritizing a deep and lasting love.

"I like to use my parents as a role model for relationships because they're a great example of love. They both showed me that a marriage, it can last, and that should be the goal, ultimately," expressed Pascal.

Following their conversation in the pods of Love Is Blind: Germany, Shella, and Pascal expressed mutual appreciation for each other's company. Their parting words were warm and friendly, with Shella thanking him and Pascal bidding her farewell until next time.

Shella later shared her impressions of Pascal, highlighting his passion for travel as a trait she finds particularly appealing. She was pleasantly surprised to learn about his experiences in Africa, which has helped her feel increasingly comfortable around him.
