Recently, Vibe reported that Love & Hip Hop: Miami's reality star and rapper Trina got married in a secret ceremony on May 22 in Miramar, Florida. While it is uncertain when the two started their relationship, the reality star confirmed her engagement during an Instagram Live session with Stormy Wellington.

While in conversation with Wellington, she said:

"I had a big night last night. I can't even believe I'm at work right now," Trina said.

When Stormy asked the cast member if she got engaged, Trina said yes.

More recently, Trina appeared on Carlos King's podcast, where she referred to Kearse Jr. as her "husband." Speaking about her relationship, she said:

"In my relationship now with my husband, we share a lot. That's my husband. To me, honestly, it's just a breath of fresh air being secure, confident in knowing and believing and trusting in how I feel. I feel like now it's more than just a relationship."

The reality star added that she liked to control her privacy and didn't care about people needing to see what she and her husband were doing. She added that she wasn't hiding and was "happy" and "confident."

"He's extremely confident. And it's more than just a relationship. We've built friendship. Every day is like being with your best friend," the Love & Hip Hop: Miami star added.

Comparing her public life to her life with her husband while in conversation with Carlos King, Trina said they were a "vibe." She added that, compared to being the "baddest chick," she got to come home to him and chill with him with no makeup on. The Love & Hip Hop: Miami star said the couple could watch a movie all day and that they like the same things, which she didn't have before.

Trina stars in Love & Hip Hop: Miami, which wrapped up season 5 earlier this year in April 2024.
