90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 aired a brand new episode this week on Monday, August 12, 2024. During the segment, a new couple was introduced to the show. Joanne aka Jo is a 43-year-old single mother from Long Island while her partner, Sean is a 38-year-old and lives in Ireland.

Before appearing on the show as a couple, Jo made several trips to see Sean and even married him in secret. While her friends and family were aware of Sean's presence in her life, she kept her marriage a secret.

"Everyone knows Sean as my boyfriend, but that's not actually true. Sean and I are actually married, and we have been for two years," Jo said in a confessional.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 introduces a new couple

In 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 Episode 7, Joanne aka Jo introduced herself as a psychic medium and a life coach. She stated that she met her partner, Sean through her work when he reached out to her for a "reading."

Sean also spoke to producers about the beginning of his and Jo's relationship and said that he was interested in the universe," "the energies," and didn't know what was going on in his life.

"I could not lock into this man's energy for sh*t and I was like, "What is going on here?" I was freaking out and normally that is my telltale sign," Jo said.

She said she knew there could be something more. She added that the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couple continued talking even after the reading. Sean said they used to talk for more than six hours at night and termed getting to know Jo "mad."

Jo knew that Sean "was it" three weeks into their relationship and flew to Ireland for the first time after knowing him for nine months. She added that the two bonded over being single parents as both of them have two children each.

Later in the episode, she discussed about not telling her family that she was married to Sean. Jo admitted that the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way cast members should have told her family "a year ago" but didn't.

Fans of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 chimed in on their relationship online and were critical of Jo not telling her family about being married.
