"Crocodile tears": Love Island USA fans react to Kendall crying after Nicole didn't say "I love you"

Love Island USA season 6 released its season finale on Sunday, July 21, 2024, and saw the final four couples go on a date before the votes were announced. The final four couples in Love Island USA season 6 were Serena and Cordell, JaNa and Kenny, Leah and Miguel, and Kendall and Nicole.

Kendall confessed his love for Nicole on their date and told her he realized he had feelings for her when he returned from Casa Amor. He told her that he had never had such strong feelings for anyone else. Upon hearing this, Nicole was taken aback and hugged Kendall. While Nicole didn't tell him that she loved him back, she did say that she had a "lot of love for" him, adding that the fact that she has "those feelings is crazy."

After the two returned to the villa, they spoke to their friends about the date. While speaking to Kordell, Kendall seemed upset that Nicole didn't tell him that she loved him back. When fans of Love Island USA saw this scene, they took to social media to criticize Kendall and call him out for "lying to Nicole" about loving her.

Love Island USA season 6 finale: Nicole responds to Kendall's declaration of love

In the Love Island USA season 6 finale, the remaining couples went on their final dates, when Kendall expressed his feelings for Nicole. As the two sat on the beach, Kendall got emotional while expressing his feelings towards his partner.

Kendall told her that he felt alone for a long time, and she made him feel comforted, which tore him inside. He added that the Love Island USA season 6 islander made him feel "comfortable, loved, and chosen."

"Like I'm legit straight falling in love with you, Nicole I love you," Kendall stated.

The confession stunned the Love Island USA bombshell, who could only hug her partner. As Kendall cried in Nicole's arms, he told her that he realized he was in love with her after he returned from Casa Amor, claiming that he had never had such feelings in his life.
