Love After Lockup released episode 49 of season 5 on November 29. Titled High Risk Lies, the episode focused on Justine and Michael finding out that they needed to do a premature delivery because of complications involved.
The episode also documented Bianca's friend, Hailey, trying to convince Daniel to secure Bianca's interests by promising to marry her while Bianca was away. When Daniel showed reluctance to do so, Hailey asked why he wasn't sure about marrying Bianca. He said he wanted to make sure they were secure as a couple.
To this, Hailey advised him to "cut the cord" sooner than later because she said her friend wasn't someone who would end the relationship, thinking it would get better. Fans of Love After Lockup took to X to react to this conversation. Most of them thought Hailey's advice was sound and that Daniel indeed should break up with Bianca as they thought he was never going to marry anyone else.

Some fans of Love After Lockup thought Daniel needed to be with another person, which was why they asked him to leave Bianca.

The conversation between Daniel and Hailey on Love After Lockup season 5 episode 49
Hailey brought up the fact that Bianca thought Daniel "love bombed" her. Daniel said he did "love bomb" her, but it might look like he did so to manipulate her, but he didn't. Hailey then steered the topic to his intentions of living with Bianca just because she was paying for it.
He said that he found an anchor in her after he got out of the prison, and Bianca was also going through a lot, which is why they decided to move in together so that they could figure out their lives. Having said that, he added that he didn't think they were ready for marriage in between all of that and said that was the reason he held back.
Hailey then asked him if he actually loved her, and Daniel said yes. She said she wanted to make sure he didn't dump her later on or drag her for long. She then asked her when he thought he would be ready for the marriage, and Daniel said he didn't know.
He asked her why giving a ring was so important, and Hailey explained that Bianca was a very "white picket fence" kind of girl, so it would reassure her. In a Love After Lockup confessional, Daniel said Bianca was providing the more "materialistic" things, but that was love. Hailey then advised him to leave Bianca already if he was never going to marry her.
