"Dead wrong"— The Real Housewives of New York City fans criticize Ubah’s conversation with Racquel about Puerto Rico

In The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 episode 14, Quit Your Beachin, the cast's trip to Puerto Rico continued and Racquel was upset about Ubah's behavior at the beach.

The cast member discussed Ubah's behavior with some of the cast members and said that she didn't know if it was a "good look." She said she wanted to talk to her privately but didn't know how it would turn out.

Later in the episode, Racquel spoke to the cast member and said Ubah's comments about the beach were not "nice." The two got into an argument and Ubah defended herself and said she didn't "mean it that way." She further said Racquel hadn't been to Puerto Rico in six years while she had been there four times since the hurricane for shoots.

"I came to Puerto Rico more than do you," she added.

Fans of the reality show commented on Ubah's statements and criticized her for the same. One person wrote on X:

"Ubah is dead wrong in this situation with Raquel. The way she’s spoken about Puerto Rico is mad disrespectful."

"I am so over Ubah's, she is so disrespectful of Raquel. I didn't like her attitude last year either tbh and you wish Ubah that you are Naomi or Tyra. Never heard of Ubah before this show," a fan commented.

"Apparently Ubah, after her 4 photoshoots in Puerto Rico, found the time to talk to the locals, to understand their culture, their struggles, to visit politicians and talk about their objectives and laws. Racquel, a Puerto Rican, knows nothing and should STFU…" a tweet read.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City termed Ubah "insensitive":

"Ubah wants to imply she knows more about Puerto Rico when Racquel is Puerto Rican?? All because you came to shoot your model photoshoots in Puerto Rico after their hurricanes?? That’s so insensitive and rude," a person wrote.

"Something is going on with Ubah in Puerto Rico that she is not telling. Because the way that everything is setting her off is a bit much. She was also wrong for talking about the beach like that," a fan commented.

"Ubah. Now I’m gonna have your back against Brynn 110%. But you’re wrong telling Racquel you are more versed in Puerto Rico than she is," a tweet read.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 further said:

"Ubah is acting unhinged. Not enjoyable. The cancer comment. The Puerto Rico comment. What the heck is wrong with her?" a person wrote.

"It’s not about Puerto Rico going through so much it’s about being f*cking obnoxious when someone is happy to host you in their home country. Even if the water was disgusting it IS rude to say it repeatedly, Ubah," a fan commented.

In The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 episode 14, Racquel spoke to Ubah about her comments about the beach they visited. The cast member it was disrespectful of her to call the beach "disgusting" while Ubah stated she only said what she saw.

The RHONY star asked Ubah how she would feel if someone came to her home country and said those things and the latter said she would act the same way she did on the beach. She further said that Racquel hadn't made Ubah sign an NDA so she was allowed to express her opinions.

Racquel was unhappy with Ubah's stance during the conversation and criticized her statements in a confessional. The Real Housewives of New York City star said Ubah thought she understood Puerto Rico better than Puerto Ricans.

"Okay. Fine. Wonderful. So that makes your insults even worse!" she added.

Sai said she understood what Racquel meant since the island had been through "so much." Ubah retaliated that every part of the world had been through something and asked whether Racquel and Sai were "ganging up" on her.

Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City agreed with Racquel and criticized Ubah's statements.
