"Demonic spirit"— Love is Blind fans criticize Ramses for breaking up with Marissa

Love is Blind season 7 finale aired this week on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. The segment saw the remaining couples decide whether to continue their relationship or walk away from the social experiment single.

While two couples made it to the altar, Ramses and Marissa broke up before their big day. Ramses told his fiancée he spoke to his family about his previous marriage and his and Marissa's wedding. He said he was scared he might end up hurting her. Despite Marissa's pleas, he broke off the engagement and parted ways.

Fans of the social experiment reacted to the conversation online and criticized Ramses for breaking up with Marissa just before the wedding.

"Ramses is actually a demonic spirit!!!!!!!!!!!," one person wrote on X.

"Ramses is so mfing FAKEEEEEE and this really sucks for Marissa. He thinks he’s being “logical” when he’s just blaming her…" a fan commented.

"Lemme translate all Ramses’s babbling nonsense: “I don’t wanna be with you bc you’re not stress-free and down to hook up all the time like you were when we were on VACATION in Cabo” He proposed to a LAW student, he didn’t think she’d be stressed???" a tweet read.

Some fans of Love is Blind season 7 called Ramses the "ultimate villain."

"i hate ramses omg. he is the ULTIMATE villain of the season," a person wrote.

"I know Hannah is bad and verbally abusive but if y’all act like Ramses isn’t this season’s villain by milesssss you need to get evaluated," a fan commented.

Ramses calls of the wedding in Love is Blind season 7 finale

In Love is Blind season 7, episode 12, titled Leap of Faith, Ramses and Marissa's conversation about their relationship continued. Ramses expressed concerns about possibly hurting her in the future, and Marissa recalled their previous conversation in the jacuzzi about their future and "this beautiful thing coming up."

The Love is Blind season 7 star said that while there were many people and their feelings involved, it was ultimately about the two of them. Ramses said that after talking to people and hearing other married people talk, he didn't think "love alone" was enough. He said other things also needed to work.

"So we only have love between us?" Marissa asked.

Ramses said there was more and that they had built "an incredible bond." He added that while their connection was amazing, there were certain things that one couldn't "get around."

He said living together and spending time together was "crazy important," adding that it could be the thing that could "potentially grind" them down over time. Marissa told the Love is Blind season 7 reality star there was more than love between them.

Despite Marissa wanting to make it work, Ramses ended their relationship in the season finale.
