Love & Marriage: Detroit season 2 released episode 4 on September 28. The episode was titled No Love, No Grace, All Shade and saw Brandon going to pick out a new ring for Kristina as a symbol for their reunion.
He invited LaToya, Chelsea, Kolby, and Trinity to help with the ring picking at a jewelry store. LaToya just had a fight with Kristina, his wife, in the last episode, but the ladies came to a truce earlier in episode 4. Chelsea and LaToya also weren't on each other's good pages, which made the union of these four ladies a ticking time bomb.
Fans of Love & Marriage: Detroit took to X to comment on the situation. They called out Brandon for inviting these many ladies with conflicting views at one venue because they thought it was a disaster waiting to happen.
"Brandon needing so many people to help choose a ring is a disaster waiting to happen!" said one fan.
"Brandon don't need all these people to pick out one ring. You're inviting trouble," another fan said.
"Whatever Brandon! You knew what you were doing when you invited half of Detroit to pick a ring," a third one commented.
"Brandon could’ve just stuck with the niece on helping pick out the ring. He doing tew murch. A ring ain’t gone solve sh*t!" another fan wrote.
Many Love & Marriage: Detroit fans also criticized Brandon for calling LaToya and Kolby because they just had a tiff with his wife.
"Brandon why would you invite Latoya and Kolby," an X user wrote.
"With Kristina and Brandon we’ve gone from them both hiding to everyone that they were living separately, to Brandon telling all the men to Brandon inviting all the women Kristina doesn’t even like or talk to, to help him buy another ring for her…," another X user wrote.
"Brandon you’re Kristina’s opp bc why would you disclose personal business to the women who don’t really f*ck with your wife! Chileeeeeee," a comment read.
"I think Brandon invited too many people to go ring shopping with," another comment read.
Kristina and LaToya call it a truce in episode 4 of Love & Marriage: Detroit season 2
The long-reigning feud between Kristina and LaToya came to a halt in episodes 3 and 4 of Love & Marriage: Detroit. Brandon and Anthony, their respective husbands, shook their hands and brought their wives together because they wanted them to resolve their issues.
Kristina and Brandon said that they were hurt when LaToya told Kim about their issues. LaToya said she did so because she was close to Kim. Bringing peace to the conversation, Anthony urged the ladies to talk to each other from then on instead of talking to other people.
LaToya then said she was over their feud, she wasn't going to come for Kristina nor was she going to bring anyone else to her. She then said she was going to take accountability for her role in hurting Kristina.
In a Love & Marriage: Detroit confessional, Kristina said she had heard better apologies from her children, but she was going to give LaToya some grace for acknowledging her mistake.
Anthony then pulled his wife to Kristina and asked them to hug it out and call it a truce, which the two did.
New episodes of Love & Marriage: Detroit season 2 come out every Saturday, at 8 pm ET, on OWN.
