"Disastrous"— Love After Lockup fans react to cast member's relationship with Rob

Love After Lockup season 5 aired episode 51, referred to as Love During Lockup, on Friday, December 15, 2024. The segment saw the WETV bring in a new set of cast members including Tia and Rob.

During the episode, Tia and Rob opened up about their relationship and the female cast member revealed they started talking 8 months prior. Rob, who only had 45 days left to serve, told his girlfriend about what he wanted to do when he got out.

However, hearing that her boyfriend wanted to see strippers upon his release, worried her, and she got a tarot card reading from her cousin. Fans of the reality show commented on Rob and Tia's connection and their first impression of the couple was not the most pleasant. One person wrote on X:

"Rob already has a contingency plan that does not involve Tia. This is going to be disastrous."

"Baby Rob is 100% bout to be cheating DOWN. And Tia will not be leaving him," a fan commented.

Fans of Love After Lockup felt Tia needed therapy:

In Love After Lockup season 5 episode 51, Tia and Rob discussed their plans once the male cast member was released from prison. He told her that he wanted to get "strippers" and that it was up to Tia whether she wanted to join or stay home.

When she asked when they would do it, he said the week after he came home. He also told her he wanted to invite his family over the day he returned and cook them dinner. The Love After Lockup season 5 cast member asked him why he needed to see his family immediately and recalled them deciding to spend time with one another the first two days when Rob came home.

Later in the episode, Tia met up with her cousin, who had introduced the couple. Tia explained in a confessional that her cousin Toya was a tarot card reader and a medium.

Toya asked the Love After Lockup star if she had any questions and the latter told her about Rob wanting to meet his family the first day and wanting strippers after he got out of prison. Toya pulled out the 10 of Cups card and said Rob's family gave him love and joy.

"He plans on going full force, he's not going to let anything stop him in a relationship," she added.

She further pulled out the Heal card which made Tia emotional. Toya told the WeTV star there needed to be a "constant effort" to heal and asked her not to go "back there." She told the Love After Lockup reality star she had a lot of happiness.

Tia opened up to the cameras about her past and being in an abusive relationship. She said it got so bad that she had broken bones. Fans of the reality show commented on Tia and Rob's relationship and felt Rob was going to cheat on Tia.
