Artem Chigvintsev from Dancing With the Stars was arrested on allegations of domestic violence on Thursday, August 29, 2024. The professional dancer from Dancing With the Stars posted the $25,000 bail to get out of jail. Artem, who has a son named Matteo with Nikki Bella, was arrested from their home in Napa.

He was booked for a "felony corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant" charge on Thursday morning, around 10 am local time. It is worth noting that a victim needs to have visible injuries for their perpetrator to be arrested on felony charges.

Officials from the Napa police department haven't shared any information about the alleged incident or victim. However, according to multiple reports, the alleged victim is believed to be Artem's wife, Nikki.

Napa officials have not yet disclosed any information about the alleged victim or details about the arrest while they gather information. A representative of the Napa County Sheriff's Office, Henry Wofford, noted that they were treating the case like "every other domestic violence case.

Some reports also noted that paramedics were en route to Chigvintsev's residence after an unknown individual called 911. The call, reporting a "medical emergency," came about two hours before the DWTS pro's arrest. While it's unclear who made the 911 call, the caller later canceled the request.

Exploring Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Bella's family

Artem Chigvintsev met former WWE wrestler Nikki Bella when they were partnered on DWTS season 25 in 2015. At the time, Nikki used the name Nikki Bella, which she later changed to Nikki Garcia.

Nikki and Artem got married in August 2022, nearly two years after they got engaged in Paris. They had a son, Matteo Artemovich Chigvintsev, in July 2020. Artem and Nikki have no other children as of writing this article.
