"Doesn't feel authentic"— Southern Charm fans react to Shep's new relationship

Southern Charm season 10 aired a new episode this week on December 12, 2024. The segment started with Shep Rose Facetiming his new girlfriend, Sienna, who was named Ms. Bahamas in 2021.

The cast member recalled the beginning of their relationship and said they met on a dating site, and said that he believed she was "so s*xy." As the couple's call played out, fans commented on the introduction of Shep's new girlfriend online.

"Something about this situation with Shep & his new girl doesn't feel authentic to me. I can't quite put my finger on it though," one person wrote on X.

Fans of Southern Charm season 10 felt Shep's girlfriend was using him for clout.

"AWKWARD watching Shep drool over Ms. Bahamas, knowing now she had a boyfriend at the time and was using him for clout. So SAD!" a person wrote.

In Southern Charm season 10 episode 2, Shep Rose introduced fans to his new girlfriend, Sienna, via Facetime. He explained in a confessional that the two met on a dating app, and he thought there was nobody else that looked like her. He added that the "whole country of the Bahamas would agree," since Sienna was Miss Bahamas.

He further praised her and said that she was smart, driven, and independent. He said she was always flying from place to place as a model and she was also a medical student.

"She's a lot of things that Taylor wasn't," he added.

The Southern Charm season 10 cast member added that she had her "own thing going on" and was a "big baller."

During the episode, the two were seen navigating their long-distance relationship and making plans to get together. Shep told Sienna he could "jump on a plane" and visit her in Nassau. He added that he would love to hang out with her "for an extended period of time" if she would let him.

"But I know you're busy, so I don't want to like, monopolize your time," he said.

Despite the relationship being showcased for the first time in season 10, in November 2024, during Bravo Fan Fest, the Southern Charm star revealed he was single.

Fans of the Bravo reality show commented on Shep Rose's new relationship but were not convinced as they felt it didn't feel authentic.
