"Doesn't respect where I come from" - Married to Medicine's Sweet Tea on her issues with Heavenly

Married to Medicine season 11 episode 7, titled Mean Girls Gala, premiered on Bravo on January 12, 2025. In the episode when Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford learned from Phaedra Parks that Heavenly Kimes was ready to clear over with and apologize to Contessa Metcalfe, she wondered why she wasn't apologizing for what she did to her.

In her confessional, she expressed that Heavenly doesn't respect her background or her marriage, and then proceeded to launch a harsh online attack, disrespecting both her family and personal life.

"[Heavenly] doesn't respect where I come from, what I stand for, and she doesn't respect my marriage... You viciously attacked me online, disrespected my family," Sweet Tea said.

Later in her confessional, the Married to Medicine star expressed that she wanted Heavenly to apologize to her and mean it.

Heavenly has been on the fence with Sweet Tea since the reunion episode of season 10. During the episode, Sweet Tea accused Heavenly's husband Dr. Damon Kimes of cheating. This was not received well by Heavenly who in retaliation, took to social media to burst her grievances.

"She said some derogatory things about me and my profession, and my businesses. And I retaliated on her husband," Heavenly explained in a season 11 premiere confessional.

Married to Medicine star Phaedra informs Sweet Tea about the conversation she had with Heavenly

In Married to Medicine season 11 episode 7 featured a conversation between Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford and Phaedra Parks where the two shared their thought on their fellow cast mates Jackie Walters and Heavenly Kimes.

As the two Married to Medicine castmates sat down, Phaedra casually mentioned that she had recently attended Heavenly's son Zachary's "going away party." Noticing Sweet Tea's absence, she speculated that Sweet Tea hadn't been invited.

"You know I don't f**k with her [Heavenly]," Sweet Tea reacted.

A Med Gala was scheduled later in the episode. Confused and curious, Sweet Tea asked Phaedra if she had any idea about the event.

Phaedra mentioned that Jackie was hosting the auction at the Med Gala and had assigned her some responsibilities for the event. However, Phaedra also revealed that when she attended Zachary's going away party, Quad told her that Jackie was unhappy with her performance.

"When I get to this going away party, Quad is telling me 'Ohh she's very upset' and you know, saying 'I haven't done anything'. I was just sort of surprised that Jackie tried to play me crazy like that. I said you got time to gossip, but you didn't have time to send me a text to me personally. It's your vision, it's not my vision," she shared,

Sweet Tea was puzzled as to why Jackie held Phaedra accountable for her work, especially considering that with her Married to Medicine "bestie," Heavenly, Jackie had previously let things slide. Sweet Tea sarcastically added that she also doesn't hold her dog responsible.

Phaedra speculated that Heavenly has been close to Jackie for years and it might be the reason why they get the "pass at all angles".

"I don't know if they're fearful of Heavenly or if they are just the same people and they use Heavenly as their tool to manifest bad behavior... You can't be that close to the devil and I have devilish ways," the Married to Medicine star added in her confessional.

Phaedra then shared with Sweet Tea that she had a conversation with Heavenly about the whole Contessa situation. Heavenly told Phaedra that she was willing to have a "sit down with Contessa" and was ready to apologize.

Sweet Tea questioned why Heavenly was quick to apologize to Contessa but wasn’t willing to extend the same courtesy to her. In her confessional, the Married to Medicine star expressed that she wanted a genuine apology from Heavenly for disrespecting her and his family on social media

"I want Heavenly to apologize and mean it. And then offer some type of peace offering. But you have not done that. You know they've taught us that in Kindergarten," Sweet Tea said in her confessional.
