"Doing the absolute most" — Love Island: All Stars fans react to Elma's argument with Ron

Love Island: All Stars season 2 returned with a new episode on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. The segment saw Elma arguing with Ron about being labeled as "extra" for her reaction to Ronnie and Kaz's kiss. Elma validated her reaction, criticizing Ron for advising her on how to act inside the villa and "stirring the pot" between his co-stars.

"I thought you were just stirring the pot if I'm honest, Ron. I thought you've gone from pillar to post just putting your little two pence in and just trying to like, cause a rift between people," Elma said.

The previous episode saw the islanders play a game, where each handed the other a sash with a personality trait best suited for that person. Ron gave Elma the "extra" sash, and stated that she went overboard with her reaction to Ronnie and Kaz's situation. The remark displeased Elma, who refused to hear another person's opinion about her private matters.

In the latest episode, Ron apologized to Elma for upsetting her, and added that it was not his intention to make her feel that way. He also mentioned that he wanted to put an end end their dispute and start afresh.

Love Island: All Stars fans took to X to react to Elma's outburst. While many disapproved of her argument, others urged her to confront Ronnie and his actions.

"I’m sorry but what exactly did Ron do wrong? Elma was doing the absolute most, are we forgetting that the girl was fully crying over Ronnie on day 3??" a fan wrote.

"Elma is jarring she dragged it with Kaz and now Ron you was dramatic and extra Bye," another fan commented.

"Bore off Elma...its Love island shoukd have sufficed as an answer from Ron its the premise of the show," a netizen tweeted.

Many Love Island: All Stars fans took to X to criticize Elma for confronting Ron.

"Elma - you putting your insecurity on Ron. How about you deal with it with the real person you are mad at," a user reacted.

"Elma is lowkey jarring. What Ron said to Elma about her overreacting was so minor. F**king hell, he is entitled to his own opinion," a person commented.

"Elma is HARD WORK. Her and Ronnie deserve eachother. Ron was 100% on the money," another fan wrote.

Other Love Island: All Stars fans defended Ron, claiming he was entitled to his own opinion.

"Ron was literally apologising and Elma was cutting him off like what do you want him to do??? tbh he wasn't wrong shes acting like shes married with 5 kids," a person reacted.

"im not being funny but ron has done nothing wrong all he said was elma was acting bare territorial when it had only been a couple days and she's only getting irritated cs she knows he's right," another commented.

While Ron believed Elma was "wifed off" to a man she had known for only a few days, Elma disagreed. However, Ron struggled to trust her stance, recalling how she cried over Ronnie a few days back. Hearing that, Elma explained that she cried over everything, and added that he did not know her long enough to understand her.

"Trust me, that reaction warranted wifed off," Ron stated.

The Love Island: All Stars cast member advised her to explore and not remain confined to one man. The suggestion, however, did not sit right with Elma, who confronted him the following day after discussing the recent events with her partner, Ronnie.

Elma not only criticized his opinion on her reaction but also disapproved of his advice on how she should live her Love Island: All Stars experience. She claimed it was unfair coming from him since everyone's experiences were unique.

"My journey is completely different from yours. I don't know you from Adam, babe," she remarked.

Eventually, Ron apologized for how his comments came across and hoped they could put the feud behind them. Earlier in the episode, Ronnie confronted Ron about intervening in his affairs with Elma and Kaz. He criticized Ronnie for throwing him under the bus, claiming that it "p***ed" him off.

Later that day, the latest arrivals were asked to pick their partners. While Ron coupled up with Kaz, the other newcomer Grace paired with Luca.
