"Doing too much" — Young, Famous & African fans react to Nadia's involvement in Diamond and Fantana's "situation"

Young, Famous & African premiered its third season on January 17, 2025. Episode 4 of the series, titled Who Rules the Jungle? featured a heated confrontation between Nadia and Diamond. During the argument, Nadia accused Diamond of having a girlfriend and expressed concern about his intentions with Fantana, with whom he was pursuing a physical relationship.

Nadia was especially concerned about Fantana, who had disclosed earlier in the episode that she might be carrying Diamond's baby. A worried Nadia met with Diamond later to find out how serious he was about Fantana. Her fears were confirmed once Diamond revealed he was in a "situationship" with Fantana and did not want any commitment.

Diamond also disclosed he had other "situationships," one of which was in Tanzania. Later, in the episode, Nadia accused Diamond of having a girlfriend, hoping Fantana would see that he was misleading her. However, Nadia's attempts failed when Diamond insisted that the woman she mentioned was only an actor from his music video.

However, Nadia remained unconvinced, wondering why Fantana would not believe her. She said she would continue to interfere in their business to protect Fantana. Young, Famous & African fans took to X to react to Nadia's mediation. While some appreciated her for standing up for her friend, others criticized her meddling in their affairs.

"Nadia is doing too much with this whole Diamond Fantana situation, Fantana is a big girl, she knows what she’s doing lol," a fan wrote.

"Nadia is a real friend . Fantana is not aware of how lucky she is to have her," another fan commented.

Many Young, Famous & African fans praised Nadia for looking out for Fantana, hoping the latter would recognize Diamond's intentions.

Other Young, Famous & African fans criticized Nadia for getting involved in Fantana and Diamond's matters.

"Nadia, this Fantana/Diamond situation, she is taking paracetamol for someone else's headache, she needs to let it go," one user posted.

"Nadia overreacted on the Diamond and Fantana issue , it wasn't her business," a person reacted.

"It's not a music video! That is his girlfriend!" — Young, Famous & African's Nadia refuses to believe Diamond

In one segment of the Young, Famous & African episode, Nadia confronted Diamond about his relationship status with Fantana. Diamond revealed that his relationship with Fantana was not serious and added that he was only "having fun." When he admitted he had a "situationship" in Tanzania, Nadia asked if Fantana knew about it. Diamond said she did but Nadia believed she did not.

While speaking to the cameras, Diamond revealed he and Fantana had a "memorandum of understanding," where they could pursue a physical relationship without strings attached. As a result, Diamond believed he was not misleading her. Meanwhile, Nadia's frustration increased, wondering how Fantana could not see how Diamond was "manipulating her."

Fantana, on the other hand, revealed that she acted "delusional" because she wanted Diamond to be present in her life if she turned out to be pregnant.

Later at Diamond's party, Nadia asked him if the girl he kissed in his Instagram stories was only an actor and not his girlfriend. Diamond confirmed it was an actor from his music videos. When Swanky supported Diamond, Nadia claimed there were rumors and "receipts" about his relationship.

"You can't be this dense. I'm sorry, there's no way. It's not a music video! That is his girlfriend!" Nadia exclaimed in a Young, Famous & African confessional.

After Nadia stormed out of the party, Fantana explained to Diamond that Nadia did what any "big sister" would do and added that she did not mean to "attack" him. The Young, Famous & African star then took a pregnancy test and found out she was not pregnant.
