"Doing TOO much"— Love is Blind fans react to Taylor being upset with Garrett over a text message

Netflix's popular social experiment, Love is Blind, aired two new episodes for season 7 on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The segment saw the couples live together to see whether they were compatible outside the pods. With their phones back in their possession, one person's social media activity caused tension.

In episode 10, Garrett told Taylor he received an Instagram message from an ex but he had only liked it. The latter later discovered that her partner had responded to the message, which made her contemplate their future together. She accused him of lying and stated she didn't feel "200%" about him.

Fans reacted to the conversation online and were critical of Taylor's reaction in episode 10. One person wrote on X:

Fans of Love is Blind season 7 felt Tayloor was "overreacting."

Some fans of Love is Blind season 7 supported Taylor.

Taylor and Garrett discuss the latter's response to a message from his ex in Love is Blind season 7 episode 10

In Love is Blind season 7 episode 10, Garrett informed Taylor that he had received an Instagram message from an ex but that he had liked the message. As they were about to enter the party, Taylor told her he should have told his ex-girlfriend that he was engaged instead of liking it.

While at the party, Garrett told Tyler and Ashley about the same while Taylor was present. The male cast member stated he responded to the message, telling the woman in question that he was engaged and didn't think it would be appropriate for them to text.

Taylor was upset and asked to see her fiancé's phone. Garrett told her his phone was elsewhere but would get it if she wanted him to. Taylor walked away from the table in tears as Ashley followed her. The Love is Blind season 7 participant told Ashley that Garrett was supposed to meet her family and was upset about him lying to her.

Later in the episode, Garrett asked Taylor if she was upset, and the latter said she was "livid" that he left out "facts." The male cast member stated they were details and stated he didn't think about telling her about his conversations "word to word." He apologized to Taylor, and the female participant said they could have resolved the issue an hour ago when they spoke about the text message.

"I made a huge mistake," Garrett said.

The Love is Blind star said she wasn't feeling "200%" confident about Garrett meeting her family the next day. She said there were "too many red flags" and "too much in too little time." Garrett asked her if she was talking about the wedding, and Taylor said it was "weird" and didn't make sense.

Although the episode ended on a cliffhanger, in episode 11, the two worked through their issues and went on a date to smooth things over.

Fans of Love is Blind season 7 reacted to the conversation online and felt Taylor's reaction was "too much."
