The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 aired a brand new episode on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. The segment picked up where the previous episode ended, with Taleen and Caroline Brooks' argument. However, not too long after, others got involved, and Sara and Caroline Stanbury also got into a fight.
Stanbury had an issue with Sara backing Brooks and said it seemed like she was moving her like a puppet. She added that it appeared as though she was feeding her words instead of letting her speak for herself.
Fans of the show reacted to the argument online and were upset that Caroline was angry with Sara for being friends with Brooks despite her own changed dynamics with Chanel Ayan. They took to X and mentioned that she had "double standards" and called her a "hypocrite."
"It’s so funny how Stanbury called Sara a hypocrite for picking up for Brooks or being close to Brooks even though they hated each other last year, when the same could be said for Stanbury and Ayan. Like be for real smh #RHODubai," a fan commented.
"I’m still confused by Stanbury’s reaction to Sara. Yes, Sara can be annoying but her 'playing therapist' to Brooks wasn’t hypocritical. By Stanbury’s definition she, herself is because she didn’t get on w/Ayan last year but now they are buds. Make it make sense. #RHODubai," a viewer mentioned.
"I don’t get why Stanbury is attacking Sara like that. Just last season she was excluding Ayan from events and saying mean things and she accused Lesa of being an escort. It’s hypocritical #RHODubai," another person wrote.
However, some fans of The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 supported Stanbury and believed she wasn't wrong.
"Stanbury going off on Sara — I've never related to her more #RHODubai," a fan commented.
"I mean Stanbury isn't wrong.. It's like Sara is guiding Brooks what to say and how to say it. I get Sara was trying to help her friend out though, it just came off a bit.. puppeteer like #RHODubai," an individual wrote on X.
The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2: Sara and Stanbury clash
In The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 episode 6, titled, Deserted Friendships, Sara and Stanbury got into an argument after the latter accused Sara of trying to speak for Brooks instead of letting her speak for herself.
As Brooks and Taleen continued to argue, Sara told the former to tell Taleen how she felt. Stanbury then asked Sara if she was the "Brooks whisperer."
When Brooks couldn't put her thoughts into words, The Real Housewives of Dubai star said:
"You're saying that you had a conversation that's why you don't care to talk about it again?"
Brooks then noted she no longer wanted to talk about it. Sara told her she couldn't just say "it's over" and she asked her how she was supposed to say it. Taleen said she felt like Sara was Brooks' "shaman" before Stanbury chimed in and said:
"I feel like you've got your hand up her a** and moving her mouth."
Sara responded by saying:
"Maybe I have my hand up her heart, not her a**."
Stanbury then told the season 2 cast member that she was speaking for Brooks and Sara pointed out that she was advising her friend to apologize. Stanbury added that it felt like she was putting words in Brooks' mouth by telling her what she meant to say, and The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 star responded by stating:
"If I tell her to apologize, you're upset with me, if I tell her don't, you're upset with me. What do you want Caroline?"
Stanbury said she wanted Brooks to speak for herself and in a confessional mentioned she couldn't understand what "Brooks has done to Sara" to make the latter "back her blindly."
After watching the episode, The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 fans commented on the situation and were divided about Stanbury's behavior. While some believed she was wrong in calling Sara out, others felt differently.
The Real Housewives of Dubai season 2 will return next Tuesday with a brand new episode on Bravo.
