"Duped and finessed by Tyler"— Love is Blind fans react to Ashley's mom crying during her dress fitting 

Netflix's Love is Blind season 7 aired episodes 10 and 11 on the streaming platform on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The segment saw the couple continue living in Washington D.C. as they decided whether to say "I Do" at the altar. However, for two couples, their journeys ended prematurely as Tim and Hannah called it quits on their respective partners Alex and Nick.

The rest of the couples, Tyler and Ashley, Ramses and Marissa, and Taylor and Garrett picked out their wedding day outfits in episode 11. The men were accompanied by Nick Lachey and their friends, while the women and their mothers met with Vanessa Lachey for the segment.

Watching Ashley in her dress, her mother and godsister started crying. Ashley's mother previously also stated that she felt like she had known Tyler for years and called him a "good" guy. Fans of the show reacted to the fitting session online and felt emotional seeing Ashley's mother crying. They recalled Tyler lying to the cast member about being a sperm donor and criticized him online. One person wrote on X:

Ashley and her mother have an emotional moment while shopping for wedding dresses in Love is Blind season 7 episode 11

In Love is Blind season 7 episode 11, Ashley's mother and her Godsister accompanied the cast member as they looked for wedding dresses. When co-host Vanessa Lachey asked the mother how she felt, she said she had known Tyler for years and said he was a good person.

Although Ashley liked her first dress, she wondered if it was "too much." She said she felt like she knew she would "get here" one day which made everyone laugh. The Love is Blind season 7 star added there was a time when she didn't think it would happen. Her mother assured her that she knew Ashley would "get there."

Ashley tried on another dress and liked it. Her mother said she looked "beautiful" and said it was like Ashley had "always imagined." She said her daughter looked like a "bride" and that Tyler was "lucky." Her mother and Godsister started crying seeing Ashley in the dress.

"It was really dark days, in past situations where you start to feel undeserving. So to be here now and to know that someone chose me without anything else is just a very overwhelming feeling," Ashley said.

She added that she was "really, really happy" and hugged her mother. Seeing Ashley's mother's emotional reaction, fans recalled Tyler lying to the cast member about his past and were critical of him.
