Episodes 6 to 8 of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 were released on December 11, following the premiere of the first five episodes on December 4. The second installment of episodes followed the participants as they returned to their original partners for the last phase of the experiment.
Zaina, who issued the ultimatum for J.R., was paired with Aria's boyfriend, Scotty. While J.R. chose Sandy as his temporary pair. During her time with Scotty, he called her out for not wanting to go to cryotherapy and again when she declined to take a hot air balloon ride. In episode 8 of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3, Zaina expressed her gratitude to J.R. for experiencing the journey with someone like Sandy, who truly challenged his ideologies. As a result, he got to see how he could change things for the better in his relationship with Zaina.
