Big Brother Season 26's latest episode, released on Thursday, September 19, 2024, saw the houseguests bid farewell to T'Kor. She was pitted against Rubina as the replacement nominee after Angela used her Veto to remove Kimo from the block.
With four votes against her, T'Kor was officially eliminated from the show. After she exited the house, the cast members, except Leah, gathered to compete in Week 10's Head of Household (HoH) competition. In a game called 'Eye Candy,' the players had to stack candies to make the biggest stack they could. Since it was an hour-long challenge, the results were not shown in the episode.
When the Live Feeds, available on Paramount+, returned, three hours after the one-hour challenge started, viewers saw Makensy celebrating her HoH victory. Big Brother fans took to X to comment on her win. While some cheered her for winning the challenge, others wondered who she would nominate for the coming elimination.
"After evicting every single HoH that has nominated her, Makensy has now WON her first Head of Household competition. Everyone say mother!" a fan wrote.
"Like Makensy has grown on me so much this season and seeing her get an HOH when it matters most…Like she might just take the bag," another fan commented.
Big Brother fans congratulated Makensy on becoming Week 10's HoH.
"Oh my God let's gooooooooo makensy Finally won HOH i am so happy right now tears of Joy! My favorite Houseguest finally won whooooooo Hoooooo!" a netizen tweeted.
"My sweet Texas!! You did it. Makensy Jo got her first HOH," one user reacted.
"MAKENSY IS HOH B**CH WHY I JUST START SOBBING," a person commented.
However, when Big Brother fans watching the Live Feeds heard Makensy's plan to nominate Angela and Kimo, with the main target on Angela, they were unimpressed.
"Makensy won HOH! She’s making the most predictable nominations by putting up Angela & Kimo on the block! I hope she leaves during the Double Eviction next week!" one fan wrote.
"It doesn't make sense of Makensy to win this HOH. She's so well insulated on both sides that no one is going to put her up. The only person would possibly be Kimo but he doesn't win comps. She would be making a hard decision on who to put up," a user tweeted.
"Makensy winning HOH is us entering the darkest timeline. May she go out in the double," another person commented.
Big Brother Week 10 HoH Makensy wants to evict Angela in the coming elimination
After becoming the HoH, Makensy's next task was to decide who she would nominate for the impending elimination. With only seven contestants remaining, the competition was getting tighter. As a result, Makensy wanted to use the power in her hands strategically.
Her immediate targets were Angela and Kimo. Makensy confessed it would be confusing if she nominated anyone but them. However, Leah seemed to differ. She said:
"The one you just talked about and Angela are people you can beat in the following weeks, and Angela would never put you up."
Despite Leah's plea to save her ally, Angela, Makensy refused to listen, saying she had to think about the "long run" and do what was best for her game. She requested Leah to "keep Angela calm" since she did not want any drama to unfold.
In a different conversation with Rubina, the Big Brother HoH confessed she would tell Angela that she was only a pawn and not her real target to ensure she did not "flip out." She confessed she had to lie to fool Angela and her allies. She conveyed the news to Kimo, reassuring him that he was the real pawn and not Angela.
To explain her choice, she said:
"I want to give you the opportunity to take yourself off. I know if I put you up against her [Angela], she is going to think it would be you more likely. I am trying to keep her as oblivious as possible."
Later, while talking to Cam, the Big Brother HoH revealed she wanted "Leah gone" but did not want to be the one to do that. Cam agreed with her plan and hoped Angela would be sent home so that the following week, Leah could be put up on the block and eliminated, especially since her allies were already gone.
Big Brother Season 26 airs Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, only on CBS.
