Big Ed and Liz Woods were one of the most famous couples of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. They appeared on season 8 of the show, which documented their way towards the split after covering their union in the first season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life.
After showing noticeable weight loss in her Instagram pictures, Liz's fans speculated about potential health issues. She didn't address the rumors until December 21, when she posted a picture on Instagram with a caption confirming it.
"In this last week I was promoted at work, finished my last round of chemo."
When she confirmed that she was undergoing chemo, fans of the star were quick to assume that she had cancer. However, she didn't say anything about her having cancer. Chemotherapy is also used for illnesses other than cancer so it is possible that she didn't have the disease.

In the said Instagram post, the 90 Day Fiancé star wore a pair of red athleisure co-ord, and posed in front of a marathon poster with a number sticker on her body, signaling that she ran the marathon. It was a 'Holiday Fun Run' and had a picture of a wreath on the poster, alongside an inflatable snowman, and candy cane decor.
Apart from listing out her career and health achievements, the caption also mentioned her sports achievements saying:
"Accomplished my first run within the last 6 months. Blessed."
The thread also had a video of her finishing the marathon and a selfie that flaunted her Christmas-themed outfit. Speculations regarding her health didn't only rise because of a drastic weight loss but surfaced when she shared a picture from a cancer-benefit dinner.
In the picture, she posed with a Space Needle in the background. This coupled with her announcement of finishing chemotherapy, to some, ascertained that she had cancer.
Liz hasn't publicly discussed her condition yet, but small clues suggest she may be facing something serious. In a recent post, she shared that she had tears in her eyes when her health insurance was approved, after months of fighting for it.
Her profile also includes pictures of her daughter and boyfriend, Jason Zuniga, who has been supporting her through this difficult time. Liz started her relationship with Jason after divorcing Big Ed in August 2023.
