Zach Rance recently pleaded with fans to end the toxicity, as the Big Brother alum revealed that he and his family have been receiving death threats over his "showmance" with Ariana Grande's older brother, Frankie Grande.

The reality TV star shared an "extremely important" and "serious" video on his YouTube channel on Monday, August 26, addressed to all the CBS show fans. He talked about the harassment he's been getting after appearing in season 16, saying:

"This is me asking for help to all the people that follow me, to all the Big Brother fans, to anybody that's ever watched a season of Big Brother. I have been getting harassed nonstop incessantly for the past 10 years since Big Brother was on in 2014."

Zach Rance added that he's received "specific and vulgar emails" from many people, targeting not only himself but his family as well. He mentioned that those messages are often "direct threats" to his life, his family and friends' lives.

After ten years, the former Big Brother star thought "it was time for [him] to come out to the public" about what's been going on behind the scenes. He also asked fans for help.

Zach Rance talked about "showmance" with Frankie Grande which led to some fans harassing him online

Zach Rance joined the cast of Big Brother season 16 in 2014 and quickly formed a close friendship with Frankie Grande. At that time, they were known to fans as "Zankie" and many of those fans thought that a real relationship would blossom after the two came out of the house. However, it didn't happen as Rance and Grande didn't start dating when the show ended.

Talking about the "Zankie" drama, the television personality said in the recent video:

"Our "showmance" didn't end up coming to fruition. A lot of people got upset, and a lot of people that were extremely invested in "Zankie" were disappointed."

While he and Grande moved on with their separate lives after their Big Brother season ended, fans, however, were still "very upset" about the whole thing. In 2015 (months after season 16 ended), Zach Rance said that he started receiving text messages from random people after his phone and emails got leaked.

He called whoever did that "very rude," because they were coming at him and his family, and saying that he's homophobic and a closeted gay. He recalled getting hateful emails nonstop, to the point that he would receive new emails "every single day." Rance added that those messages addressed him with different derogatory names and, at some point, mentioned that he should end his life "because [he's] so in the closet."

According to Rance, the emails were so bad that he was scared that whoever was sending him those "harsh" emails would come to "physically harm [him] or [his] family." While he would continue to fight against the harassment, Zach Rance said that even after a decade, the person is still sending him emails daily. He concluded that the person even managed to contact his clients, affecting him not only mentally but financially as well.
