"Ganging up on Nick"— Love is Blind fans criticize Hannah’s friends

Love is Blind season aired two episodes this week on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The segment featured the remaining couples' journeys as the big day came closer. In episode 11, titled, The Risk of Falling in Love, Hannah introduced Nick to her friends as the couple discussed their issues.

Hannah brought up the duck incident and her friends agreed with Hannah's point of view. Later during the conversation, Nick brought up six of Hannah's reservations about him, including whether he'd walk her dog, and change his "past" behaviors for her. Hannah's friends called the reservations "easy fixes" and wondered why Nick thought Hannah's desires were "a lot of work."

Fans of the show reacted to the conversation online and felt like Hannah's friends were ganging up on the cast member. One person wrote on X:

Fans of Love is Blind season 7 felt the segment was a "hard watch":

In Love is Blind season 7 episode 11, Hannah introduced her fiancé, Nick D., to her friends, Audriana, and Hannah. Audriana asked Nick about his background and he told the pair he grew up playing sports and that his family loved sports.

He explained that he was currently into real estate and said earlier women were "never a priority" for him. Hannah asked why he participated in the show since he didn't prioritize women prior and Nick explained "it was the right time" in his life.

"Before Hannah, I never loved someone before. When you meet the right person, you kind of know," he said.

Nick's fiancée, Hannah asked if he felt ready to marry her and he said he thought so. He asked her the same question and it brought up some of the issues the couple faced so far in the show.

The Love is Blind season 7's female participant said she felt Nick was not honest and "upfront" with her sometimes. She felt Nick believed if he was honest and told her he was not ready, she wouldn't be in his life anymore.

She said they loved each other but if the Love is Blind season 7 star said "No" at the altar, they wouldn't be together anymore. Nick said Hannah was concerned about his maturity, social awareness, and whether he could take care of her, and her dog, Luna, and live in her space with her.

He said she had six "huge reservations" he could think of at the moment but Audriana called them "easy fixes." She added that the "things" Hannah wanted from him were actions and not who Nick was.

The cast member said he was willing to take on the "risks and challenges" and said he was willing to do it for Hannah. Hannah said she was not asking him to change who he was but to be respectful.

"You're saying these challenges, whatever, it sounds to you like it's a lot. And it's a lot of work, and all of this stuff, when it's really not. It's really simple, easy things. Respect me. Walk the dog. Pick up around the house. You're acting like this is a huge thing you have to change and do," Hannah's friend said.

Fans of Love is Blind season 7 reacted to the conversation and felt like Hannah's friends were being overly critical of Nick and were ganging up on him.
