"Gaslit Curtis"— Love Island: All Stars fans react to Ekin-Su's argument with cast member

Love Island: All Stars season 2 episode 12 was released on January 24, 2025, on ITV2. During the episode, Ekin-Su and Curtis attempted to resolve a previous understanding that occurred after episode 11's kissing challenge.

Curtis asked the islander what was on her mind and she recalled their disagreement. She told him that she was also upset with him but tried to reassure him. Ekin-Su explained she thought they would make up at night but that Curtis slept outside which she didn't understand.

Fans of the reality show commented on Ekin-Su and Curtis's argument online and were critical of the female islander's behavior. One person wrote on X:

Fans of Love Island: All Stars felt Curtis was "better off" without Ekin-Su:

In Love Island: All Stars season 2 episode 12, Ekin-Su and Curtis discussed their post-kissing challenge fallout. The female islander told her partner that she initially thought they would have resolved their issues the following night but couldn't since Curtis didn't sleep in the same bed as her.

She told him it made her feel "worse" and wondered how he would deal with situations in the real world. She wondered if even with minor disagreements, Curtis would go to a "mate's house" every time they had a disagreement. She added that she didn't want that.

The Love Island: All Stars male cast member explained he wasn't like that and that he was "emotionally hurt." Curtis added that it was a big situation for him and that he didn't "get like that" normally. The ITV reality star said that when similar happened in the real world, he would typically have gone to meet his family or a friend.

He explained he wasn't someone who could "snap out" of feelings hurt if he was seriously hurt.

"I just had to have a little bit of time to just be on my own," Curtis said.

The Love Island: All Stars season 2 star said he was "normally 100%" about making his partner feel like everything was fine. However, he needed to "recuperate" so he could "love" himself and love Ekin-Su again.

Ekin-Su told him she loved and respected him but felt that in a relationship, they needed to compromise on what they needed.

Fans of the ITV reality show commented on the conversation online and felt like Ekin-Su was "gaslighting" Curtis.
