Hakuna Matata Acrobats started their act with one member attempting to balance himself on the other's head, perched on a rolling platform. However, the two struggled to keep their balance and fell off the rolling board. The judges and the crowd cheered as they attempted to perform the trick again. They successfully pulled it off on their second attempt, blindfolded and hands-free.
They continued to present dangerous formations as all four team members balanced themselves on a small board high above the stage. The America's Got Talent judges got to their feet as they watched in disbelief. Hakuna Matata Acrobats' performance garnered a standing ovation from everyone inside the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
"This is one of the most dangerous acts I've ever seen on AGT, and ambitious. And you guys do it with a face like it's nothing. I mean, I really hope that people vote for you because you guys deserve it. You guys are everything that AGT stands for," Sofia Vergara said.
Howie Mandel said they were more dangerous than the Ramadhani Brothers, with whom he won the AGT Fantasy League. He added that Hakuna Matata Acrobats' performance was "bigger more dangerous and more exciting" than anything he ever witnessed.
Simon Cowell chimed in and confessed he was "terrified" throughout the act. He noted that the performance kept getting "crazier and bigger." He called them heroes and congratulated them for setting the standard for the night.
