In America's Got Talent season 19 episode 15, Quarterfinals 4, Oscar Stembridge, the 16-year-old singer from Sweden performed an emotional original song called Little Bird. As his performance ended, the studio audience cheered for the singer and Terry Crews asked Sofia to give her feedback.
The America's Got Talent season 19 judge said she thought the contestant was "already a superstar." She told him he "completely" needed to be on the stage all the time because he was amazing and "so handsome."
Speaking about his AGT Quarterfinals performance, the Modern Family actress said she didn't love Oscar's song as much. She added that she thought he was a "great singer" and already had "it all."
Howie Mandel said he also believed Oscar was a "star". He added that the AGT season 19 contestant had the "looks," "chops" and the talent. The judge asked if he could be "totally honest" and said he thought Oscar chose the wrong song. Recalling Oscar's comment about being confused about what to sing, Howie stated it was a "tough competition" while the studio audience booed him.
"Only three are going through I don't think that's going to be memorable," he concluded.
Terry Crews asked America's Got Talent season 19 judge Heidi Klum for her feedback. She told the AGT season 19 singer that he sang with his heart. She added that there was a "kind of gentleness" and "quietness" to Oscar's voice. Heidi wished his voice would "unleash a little bit more" sometimes since it was at the same level. She said she wanted him to show more range.
Simon told Oscar he was 16 years old and said the America's Got Talent season 19 star was like a "little diamond." He added that it didn't matter whether he chose the correct song.
"I think you have a real opportunity in this business to do really really really well. I would love to work with you, I really mean that," Simon added.
