“Getting out of hand”— 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fans criticize Tigerlily's "ignorance" about Adnan's culture 

In 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 episode 6, one couple's cultural differences caused an argument. The segment saw newly married Tigerlily and Adnan at odds when the American contestant questioned why she and Adnan had different "rules" of social engagement.

As Adnan and Tigerlily met Cruz and Shay outside of their hotel, the male cast member shook Shay's hand which upset Tigerlily. She called out the "double standards" because he didn't let the female cast member shake hands with men.

Fans of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 chimed in on the disagreement online. One person wrote on X:

Fans of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 fans criticized Tigerlily for not googling customs and cultural differences before marrying Adnan:

"TigerLily, you are grown. You should have been on Google researching the country and its customs by yourself before you said yes. This isn't rocket science. You saw Adnan and jumped all over it. That's your fault," a person wrote.

"Tigerlilly thought she could Americanize a Muslim man. Its the audacity for me. Completely ignorant of the culture that she married into," a fan commented.

In 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 episode 6, titled, Paradise Lost, Tigerlily and Adnan's honeymoon took a sour turn. The newly married couple got into an argument about Adnan's rules, as Tigerlily was upset that the same rules didn't apply to him.

When she saw Adnan shake Shay's hand, she asked him why it was okay for him to do that but not her. Adnan's brother, Thaer, asked her what happened and she explained that it was "disrespectful" to her. She added that if she shook a man's hand in front of the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 cast member, Adnan would be "so angry."

Adnan explained that Shay was like a sister to him. Tigerlily told him that Adnan's family, namely, his uncles and his "different people," didn't shake her hand at the wedding. She asked if she and Adnan had different rules.

The 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days male cast member asked Tigerlily why she didn't tell him that Shay wasn't part of their family. The latter said that Shay was family.

"These are your rules, these aren't even my rules. Why would I be making up mywown, whatever, this is your thing," she said.

Adnan said he didn't like seeing Tigerlily like "this" and said she made him "angry" and "stressful." She said it was his fault.

Fans of the TLC show reacted to the disagreement online and blamed Tigerlily for not knowing the Islamic traditions and culture before marrying Adnan.
