Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 episode 16 was released on January 27. Titled, The Bitter End, the episode focused on the continuation of the feud between Chase and Danni. It also saw Gary coming forth once again to express his feelings for Daisy.
In episode 16 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Gary admitted in a confessional that it hurt to see Daisy, someone he had feelings for, hooking up with Keith. After Keith left, Gary told Daisy about his feelings, but she responded that he acts impulsively rather than on genuine emotions. Fans took to X to share their thoughts on the exchange.
"These games Daisy and Gary are playing with each other are getting tiring!" a fan said.

The conversation between Gary and Daisy on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 episode 16
While partying with the crew, Gary watched Daisy and Keith making out. He came into a Below Deck Sailing Yacht confessional to say:
"It's not easy seeing someone that you care about hooking up with someone else, especially when they're doing it in front of you all the time."
Then when he sat with Daisy, she told him the girls didn't like her, referring to Danni and Diana's complaints about Daisy's behavior towards them. Gary sided with her and told her that he spoke for her because he believed in the hierarchy and supported Daisy's views of running the crew.
While she said she appreciated his take on this, he said he came into season 5 because he wanted to reconcile with Daisy. He added that he dreamt of a "fairytale life" with her and thought they would put their ups and downs aside to live a "happily ever after" later.
Daisy rhetorically asked him what he wanted her to say to him, to which Gary replied that he just wanted her to not care and say "good riddance". Daisy stated that Gary shouldn't be saying these things to her because she thought he acted on impulse.
