"Girl kept going"— Selling Sunset fans criticize Nicole for talking about Emma despite Amanza and Mary telling her to stop

Netflix's Selling Sunset season 8 premiered on Friday, September 6, 2024, and dropped all 11 episodes at the same time. The latest installment saw members of The Oppenheim Group continue to deal with personal and professional problems.

The show also welcomed a new member, Alanna Gold, who invited the cast to Pioneertown to get to know them better. Only Mary, Nicole, and Amanza attended and at dinner, the three discussed some of the other cast members.

The conversation started with Alanna asking who from their office was single, prompting Nicole to talk about a rumor she heard about Emma Hernan. Her co-stars Amanza and Mary attempted to stop her from talking but Nicole continued to tease drama involving Emma's dating life as she insinuated that she had an affair with a married man.

Fans of the show chimed in on the conversation online and were upset with Nicole bringing up Emma's dating life despite the other cast members' hesitation. One person wrote on X:

Selling Sunset star Nicole hints at Emma having an affair with a married man

In Selling Sunset season 8 episode 5, Amanza, Mary, and Nicole made their way to newcomer Alanna's Pioneertown retreat. As the four sat down for dinner, Alanna asked who all were single. As Jason, Brett, and Emma's names came up, Nicole insinuated that Emma was not single but she couldn't know for sure.

As she divulged the topic, the Selling Sunset season 8 star said that she could never tell whether Emma was single or dating someone else. The other cast members asked her what she meant but Nicole said she didn't want to get into it. As others insisted, she replied that she heard something from a "source."

Nicole said it was "morally upsetting" and she wished she didn't know. As Amanza asked her to stop talking, Nicole added that it was information that could "affect families, marriages, and Emma's reputations."

Mary and Amanza asked her to stop talking and Nicole said that Emma's behavior upset her as a "married woman." She added that if she was "the wife" she would have "killed someone."

Selling Sunset season 8 fans reacted to the conversation online and praised Amanza for trying to stop Nicole. They also criticized the latter for continuing to talk about Emma's personal life on camera.
