Love is Blind season 7 premiered with episodes 1-6 on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Bachelors and bachelorettes participated in the unique experiment that allowed them to form deep and meaningful connections, sight unseen. It was the ultimate test for discovering if true love was genuinely blind.

Hopeful singles from various walks of life gathered in the pods, vying to meet their perfect match. While some served in the military, others came from diverse creative backgrounds. Many participated in the dating show after going through bitter heartbreaks in the past, but many were inexperienced in the department of love.

Leo was one cast member who had never had a genuine emotional connection with anyone. His primary reason for joining the cast of Love is Blind was to find emotional compatibility. He revealed he inherited his family's lucrative art dealing business, which earned him a decent amount of money. Besides, he also had a well-off upbringing.

Leo didn't want his generational wealth to define him. Consequently, he wanted a partner who would be attracted to him, not his money. However, he spoke about his wealth whenever he had the chance. Love is Blind fans took to X to react to his frequent ramblings, which contradicted what he wanted out of the experiment.

"Yes Leo FFS we know you grew up with money . GIVE US A BREAK," a fan wrote.
""I don't want my job to define me" - *proceeds to talk about his job every chance he gets*," another fan commented.
"Wait did you guys know Leo has money?! No way… he never talks about it," a netizen tweeted.

Although Leo claimed he did not want his upbringing and professional wealth to define him, he frequently spoke about it not only to the women but also to the men. Love is Blind fans were unimpressed by his choice of words.

"16mins in and I can already tell Leo is one of those pretentious guys that always brags about how rich and well accomplished he is. yawn," a user reacted.
"Leo, How about you talk about anything else aside from your money???? Now I want him & that Brittany girl to het married, so she can help drain the account," a person commented.
"I can see Leo is a humblebrag. No one even asks about his money, but he makes sure everyone knows," another fan wrote.
"Make leo stop talking about how much money he has challenge : IMPOSSIBLE," another user tweeted.

Many Love is Blind fans claimed Leo's previous partners were more interested in his wealth because it was the only thing he talked about.

"Why is Leo still talking about how rich he is?? This is how you end up with a woman who wants you for your money," one person reacted.
"maybe leo wouldn’t need to be worried about people using him for his money if it wasn’t every other sentence that came out of his mouth," a netizen commented.

Love is Blind star Leo says he is fortunate to have a lucrative job

While introducing himself before the cameras in episode 1, the 30-year-old art dealer admitted he was "fortunate" enough to have a profitable business.

It was not only lucrative but also interesting. He added that the art dealing business was a family business he inherited and owned after most of his family members died of cancer.

However, he confessed that the circumstances were not as innocent as they seemed since his inheritance influenced how people perceived him.

"I ended up inheriting it, but one of my biggest insecurities is that a girl only wants me, like for money," Leo said.

The Love is Blind cast member added that he participated in the show to find someone who would "focus on the emotional connection first." Later, during one of his dates with Brittany, Leo explained how fortunate he was not to "have to worry about money at all." However, in the following sentence, he said that it wasn't something he was comfortable talking about.

He then proceeded to narrate how well-off his upbringing was. Leo said he was "groomed" to take over the family business right after he graduated college. Soon, his family suffered multiple tragedies in the form of deaths, which resulted in him inheriting the business.

"I'm not trying to say 'woe is me' but the business I, like, was really blessed to inherit, like, does, like, pretty well," Leo said.

The Love is Blind star added that one of his biggest insecurities was to be in a superficial relationship, where the girl was after his money. Consequently, he mentioned he needed "the assurance" that if his money "vanished" one day his partner would still be with him.

Soon after his date, while sitting with the other cast members in the men's lounge, Leo started talking about his business, describing how he inherited everything.

"I'm not trying to build an influencer career. I'm a rich f**king art dealer," he said.

He revealed he grew up in a country club and went to private school and a college that was all paid for. He admitted he would rather have other problems than the "problem of lack of money."

Love is Blind season 7 is available to stream on Netflix.
